Reese Hopkins say he’d be filling in for Howie

Looks like I won't be tuning in next week! Can't stand Reese!

And Howie's fulfilling a dream -- to be 1,000 miles away for the Marathon! My own dream (well, not my only one!) is to have Howie start doing his wonderful Marathon coverage again -- he stopped, or at least cut it drastically, when he started to be picked up by stations outide of Boston . . . those were the days! ;-)

Steve is reminding me of "Scott from Boston". Regular caller, that is. Like "eFrank from Astoria, Queens...".

Scott calls up Dennis Miller regularly, and Scott called Howie Tuesday or Wednesday.

Any way, Scott calls up Andrew Breitbart filling in for an ailing Miller yesterday. Scott goes off on his anti-semite/anti-Israel shtick, and suggests Breitbart read some of Henry Ford's books to understand why Israel is the root of all the problems in the world. Breitbart points out that Ford's missives were from the 1920s, and Israel wasn't founded until the late 1940s.

First thing Miller does today is comment on how bad Scott sounded, and told the screener to limit Scott to one call/quarter for the time being.

Steve, OTOH, seems to have had a bit of an epiphany, no longer sounding like a moonbat.

Yeah, that's Stever! His voice has always been sorta close to a rasp.

The show has changed quite a bit in the last 27 or 28 years.

Andrew is doing fill-in work now?

He has been. I know I've heard him filling in before, probably for Miller.

Breitbart and one of Miller's lackies went to the Dogers' game Wednesday night when Miller called the lackey to say he wasn't feeling well.

If nothing else, he can tout his website. That is, "if you like your news raw, five minutes before the networks..."

>>”Scott from Boston”.

(high pitched voice) “Thank you for taking my call Mr Carr...”

Exactly. At least some of the wackos have learned to be polite so as to get some air time before being cut off.
