Don't Make Him Bust A Cap In You.
I was in our University's union center a few nights ago, attending a dinner. One of the students had put together a 3 picture collage of President Bush senior, and 2 pictures of George W. Bush. All three were side by side, and above the pictures was the title Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
The last picture showed nazi flags around the last picture of President George W. Bush.
Not only does this student mock the President, but also mocks the Holy Trinity.
Sounds like bitterness to me.
> If you come out here you’ve always got a place to stay. We have an extra bedroom, and you’d be welcome to it.
Gee, thanks for that! One day if I ever make it back Stateside, I might just take you up on that. Conversely, if your travels take you to Auckland, do look us up.
Thanks Mate... you got yourself a deal!
There is some "frustration" out there. What, with the gas to fill our "General Lee" race cars costing so much and all. But golly gee whittakers, there ain't no dang need to generalize about us like 'gat.
Colmes is a loud mouthed Knothead and I haven’t watched that show for years just because he makes me physically sick if I turned it on.
Exactly. (Barack's)Words & Deeds BUMP!
Rove, you magnificent bastard.
Agree with all you say. Interestingly, while watching Hannity and Colmes the other night, Monica Crowley was on and she revealed that she is Colmes' sister-inlaw - that was a surprise for sure. Assuming that Monica's sister even just somewhat resembles Monica, that would be quite a catcg for ole butt ugly Alan. Monica also stated that there was a mashed potato fight at the Thanksgiving table between her and Alan. I have to say that sitting in on this family's Thanksgiving dinner with Alan and Monica would be entertaining for sure. I just hope I would get to sit next to Monica...
The only way this can get any better is if Dan Rather replaces Katy Couric (and brings Mary Mapes with him).
Karl Rove and Lindsay Graham, among other Reps, called those of us who were against their amnesty program, xenophopes, nativists, bigots, and racists.
This is nonsense. Middle america is not xenophobic at all. It has only nice things to say about non-americans, loves everything european, and is fascinated by exotic cultures.
Rove called those who were against amnesty nativists and xenophobes. This is not just a Dem elite view of the world, it is a political elite view of America.
Obama’s comments, regardless of their validity, show an appalling lack of political acumen and respect for the electorate.
He also exhibits a total lack of leadership ability. Leaders, like Lincoln or Reagan or Thatcher, inspire people by appealing to their sense of self respect or fairness or patriotism. (Some leaders appeal to people's baser instincts, like Hitler or Pol Pot.) In any case, Obama demands that people follow him, merely because he's better than them. His greatest appeal is an amorphous, anodyne and glib personality into whose protean form onlookers pour whatever preconceptions they bring.
Hannity should insist they replace Colmes with Kristin Powers.
Thanks, I thought Colmes was a Clinton supporter?
If they are worried about xenophobia they need look no further than Rev. Wright.
Absolutley. And as far as ‘clinging to religion’, this guy hangs around Rev. Wright for 20 years. Must have been fed something he liked. The puzzle pieces seem to be coming together on Obama.
My first FreeRupublic post. I am cleaning my S&W .357, whoops, it is time to swap it for my Bible, time to go to church. I cling to these things because I am happy!
In certain select fantasies of his, yes.
;)
Obama is representative of the shallowness of the common denominator culture of today. Leaders like the ones you mentioned are a thing of the past. Obama occupies the same sphere as pop singers, reality show stars, and credit card instant gratification. He is a symptom of the culture.
