The think tanks have leaned in the direction of leveling the world playing field by making Americans poorer...not helping make the third world richer.

A lot of the problem is the disconnect in our dynasty politicians. They are more concerned with their own futures and the futures of those in their own circles than the future of America. It's time to clean out the rats nest and replenish it new blood that is not connected to the "establishment".

Obama seemed to be the hope for the Dems...but he has obviously been educated from the same out of touch narrow thinking that has plagued us for decades.

He is not the one.

Yes, exactly. It was a fundraiser. The same rich white liberals who see all blacks as victims, rich or poor. The same rich white liberals who would be eager to see non-rich whites put on the mantle of "victim". He was saying it to these rich people because he was "teaching" these rich people in San Francisco that the non-rich in the midwest are VICTIMS.

I have not read/heard yet who this bunch of rich people were.... but Obama's words have the resounding echo of what his preacher preaches in church. Interesting now isn't that one can purchase his words as well.

Obama said exactly what he meant. He momentarily forgot that liberals must constantly lie about their beliefs if they want to win elections.

He is trying to sell the same Kool Aid to whites that he and others have been selling to blacks for generations. He is urging whites to “play the victim card”.

Obama gave this speech in Marin county. MARIN COUNTY! Barbra Boxer country, Where trust fund hippies drive their Prius down to the organic food outlet for tofu and couscous. He knew what he was saying and he knew who he was saying it to.

There was only one thing he did not count on.

And who do you sell “Hope” to? Victims! He’s telling whites that have problems that they are “victims” and he is bringing them “Hope”. Obama is pursuing a brilliant strategy, which makes perfect sense when you factor in his race, his mentor (Wright), and the huge success of black ministers and black politicians who continually reinforce to black Americans that they are “VICTIMS!”. Telling blacks they are victims and doing it in a way that garners a huge audience is a path to riches and fame for many. The problem for previous black candidates for President is that they were already well known for selling victimhood (to blacks). Obama comes in without the history and with the idea and ability to sell it (victim status) to any white who has problems and needs to blame it on someone (the Clinton and Bush administrations in this case).
