Has anyone else wondered if recent sex scandals (D), aside from Kwame’s, are part of an unofficial scheme to make this kind of thing seem so commonplace, so benign that voters will tend to ignore their candidates’ (or that of their spouses) trangressions when they go to the polls? That voters may eventually dumb down their expectations of elected officials (D), effectively relaxing their criteria in regards to the meaning of integrity?
