Yeah that and the fact that his parents got together at Selma. Except that that was in 1965 and he was born in 1961. Don’t these people know how to google to check their facts. LOL

Included with the statements from Obama’s church is them saying that the black churches will teach white people about Christianity. Are these people fools to think that we would believe that? Or are they just trying to convince themselves that they can do this?

Black churches CAN teach white people about Christianity; it just has to be the right (not Wright) church.
After the Episcopalians went all wonky, my dad's congregation moved, pretty much en masse, to a Ugandan Anglican Church.
They have a sound doctrine and concentrate on saving souls, not “social justice” and what not.

I saw this comment posted by someone at the prospect. Pretty clever and funny too!

Posted by: DaMav:

Rev. Mr. Wright is actually a Rovian plant to destroy race relations in the U.S. There can be little doubt that Republican operatives were behind the decision by Obama to continue attending the church of Pastor Wright for 20 years. While it can't be proved, we can be reasonably certain that he sought again and again to quit the church and speak out against some of the more outlandish statements of Wright. But right wingers cleverly saw to it that whenever Obama was in the church, Wright refrained from constroversy. We can speculate that ushers used covert hand signals whenever Obama went to use the restroom, giving a "coast is clear" sign for Wright to go into a tirade of profane condemnation of the country. Using these known Repubican tactics, the trap was laid over the years, just waiting for an innocent post-racial healer like Obama to step forward and offer to lead the nation into blissful change.

Can there be a doubt that when Obama sought to distance himself from Wright at the beginning of his campaign, Republicans were there to urge his appointment as advisor? Using soothing Republican weasel words like "he'll retire soon", and "how can you distance yourself from him -- he's just like a crazy old uncle", the invidious conservatives spun the web and waited in eager anticipation for the sickening sound of the trap to spring.

The same kind of approach has been clear when Republicans continually put words into the mouths of Bill Clinton, and many of the Hillary operatives. Perhaps wearied at the end of a day of honest campaigning, even these experienced Democratic operatives were ripe for manipulation as the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy and its racist minions closed in for the kill.

Fortunately, Obama himself was not fooled when the story broke. Recognizing at once the sinster hand of typical white people in the plot, he deftly changed his story from knowing nothing about it to stating firmly that it wasn't controversial, to astutely pointing out that claiming the US was embarked in a deliberate campaign of genocide against blacks was no worse than than an older woman being afraid of strangers in the night.

By parrying the Republican threat and foiling the plot, Obama won the praise of numerous commentators who, until that point, had been loathe to recognize his divinity.

But you are right to point out that this evil Republican plot has not fully played out in the election. If elected, unlike any other candidate, Obama's positions are not only likely to be publicized by Republicans, but even questioned by them! Let us keep the home fires burning brightly, and shun this blatant plot by Republicans to use a few catchy phrases by Reverend Wright to divert us from the healing balm of Obama. :-)

Agree. Hillary staying in may be taking the spotlight off Obama.

This guy needs to be thoroughly investigated.

WE need to just turn to their own stated goals, printed and spoken. It's all there in broad daylight.

Read the “vision” of obamama’s church, the church that he can't turn away from. (We make a mistake in focusing on one man, the Rev. Wrong. He is only one figurehead of the movement of the BLT - Black Liberation Theology. We need not do anything but show their own stated tenets - it's all there in black and white - well, BLACK - web site. “

“We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian...[Jesus is a BLACK man, says Rev. Wrong]... Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain true to our native land, the mother continent” AFRICA - [NOT America?]
Which answers the question of why he doesn't salute our flag.

http://www.tucc.org/about.htm

Read the 10-point Vision of the church that includes:

A “nonnegotiable COMMITTMENT TO AFRICA” - (caps theirs)

....”committed to LIBERATION”
(Black Liberation Theology - see link below)

...”committed to RESTORATION”

(reparations = Pay up, Whitey)

...”working towards ECONOMIC PARITY” (Marxism 101)

http://www.theblacknationalist.com/

Also read and watch the video of obamama speaking to a conclave of these Black Liberationists, alluding to the “Quiet Riots” that they are ready to unleash on the cities across this country = a la the Rodney King Riots of LA.

They intend no dialog. They intend to make their demands and if Whitey, being “Typical White People”, doesn't sit down, shut up and PAY up, they will unleash the “Quiet Riots” = hear his own words”

“Obama Warns Of ‘Quiet Riot’ Among Blacks”

http://cbs2chicago.com/topstories/Obama.Blacks.Quiet.2.337535.html We need to not use OUR words against them, but THEIRS. Make this man answer these. Make him avow his allegiance to THIS country OVER ALL OTHERS. Make him explain his "quiet riots' warning....make him explain why he "can't leave" a church that is so racist - make him explain his "Typical White Person" remark. (Had anyone said: "Typical Black Person" - they would have been immediately run out of town on a rail.

This is NOT about one man, the Rev. Bullfrog Wrong...this is about a man that wants to be the CIC of this country and the things he clings too - the things he really believes in. And that's not even touching his very real ties, family, personal and idealogical, to Kenya and the Marxist/Muslim leaders there...
