al-Sadr is playing us like a violin!
He sneaks in and out to Iran at will; calls for his army to ceasefire as he pleases; asks for amnesty for his army, but not willing to have them give up their arms.
He’s playing the cat/mouse game, awaiting our withdrawal after a period of calm, awaiting our RAT presidential contenders to extracate the USA from Iraq.
Then once Iraq is weak again, he, his army, and his ties to Iran, will take over the country.

I didn’t realize al Sadr surrendered. I thought he just wanted a cease-fire so we would stop killing his guys.
Funny thing-in today’s NY Times the headline read something to the effect of “Mahdi Army runs roughshod over Iraqi troops.” Enjoy your plate of crow you communist freaks!
In the night video, note that all of the shooters have night vision, and many weapons have IR lasers and some use IR spotlights. It’s all pitch dark to the enemy, who can’t see anything but tracers, if they don’t have night vision.

This is not the first, nor will it be the last time Sadr turns tail and runs.
The sad part is without the help of the U.S., the Iraq police and armed forces are still not up for the task. Sadr should have been exterminated years ago.
