GIANNA JESSEN survived being aborted at 7.5 months. I met her, she is a lovely young woman, she goes around spreading the Word of God to all who will listen. A nurse grabbed her and whisked her away and kept her alive, after she suffered being aborted by saline.
A baby is a blessing from God!
Oh, agreed.
Like for instance the information that the state of California, which has made abstinency-only education in the public schools against the law, which has mandated AIDS/HIV education in all schools, and which has the highest level of contraceptive compliance in the nation, also has the highest rate of STI infections in the 14-19 year old age group and one of the highest abortion rates in the USA.
(2) Babies that are initially unwanted, often end up nine months later whole-hertedly accepted, loved and treasured.
I'm sure that many of us, if we looked into our own family histories, would be impressed with the truth of this.
Or better, on the positive side, can't we teach kids to act with dignity and respect, and reverence for God and God's creations?
“While we’re exhorting the girls to keep their legs closed and not end up whores or murderesses, we also have to exhort the boys to keep it zipped and not end up MIA babydaddies, or fathers of small corpses.”
I agree with you entirely but we weren’t discussing Obama’s “sons.”
Got it.
(2) Nothing I can say in response to part 2.
Beinst you're a person who's "totally and completely opposed to abortion," you should maybe take care not to say things like that.
Other than that, s'awright. Let's both take a deep breath.
I had that cognitive dissonance until I decided that I’d just be opposed to CP.
Lock em up for ever and throw away the key....but I don’t think I could vote FOR CP if I was on a jury.
OTOH, a lot of those serial killers confess, when they know we got the goods, in order to avoid the death penalty.

..what happened to the nurse? Did she lose her license?
“which teens certainly ought to have.”
Huh? Teens who engage in non-marital recreational sex should have it, you mean?

My personal opinion is that all teens should have information available about STDs, pregnancy risk and barriers and other birth control. And that barriers should be cheaply available.
But neither should be mandated by the government.
