These include the Rev. Al Sharpton and the Rev. Pat Robertson, Toby Keith and the Dixie Chicks Yet more proof that country music makes you ignorant.

"60 Minutes" was once a great program. I got to be on hand when they filmed a show, a long time ago, and was quite impressed with the care and detail they took.
Those folks are all retired now, I think.

Did Al arrive in his private jet belching out more pollution in a single 4 hour trip than the average family of 4 does in a year? Guess the stupid-crowd accepts guidance from the scam artist who has devised the carbon credits scam to bilk more funds from the brain-dead in his following.

Stahl also visits the Gore's Nashville home, recently refitted with touches that include roof solar panels that make it more environmentally friendly. A visit no doubt arranged by Gore under terms of the interview. Stahl is warming up to Gore (pun intended).
To: TornadoAlley3
I don't expect Leslie Stahl to inquire as to why, after Gore predicted massive, unprecedented hurricanes, we have seen 2 straight years of the lowest hurricane activity in history.
Remember, Gore made the hurricane prediction CENTRAL to his premise. He even used it in the cover art for his film...

Isn't it fair to ask him why anyone should believe him when he has been so wrong about one of his most specific predictions?

In the 1970s concerned environmentalists like Stephen Schneider of the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado feared a return to another ice age due to manmade atmospheric pollution blocking out the sun.

From Snopes
In his documentary, the former Vice President calls on Americans to conserve energy by reducing electricity consumption at home.
The average household in America consumes 10,656 kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year, according to the Department of Energy. In 2006, Gore devoured nearly 221,000 kWh - more than 20 times the national average.
Last August alone, Gore burned through 22,619 kWh-guzzling more than twice the electricity in one month than an average American family uses in an entire year. As a result of his energy consumption, Gore's average monthly electric bill topped $1,359.
Since the release of An Inconvenient Truth, Gore's energy consumption has increased from an average of 16,200 kWh per month in 2005, to 18,400 kWh per month in 2006.
Gore's extravagant energy use does not stop at his electric bill. Natural gas bills for Gore's mansion and guest house averaged $1,080 per month last year.
"As the spokesman of choice for the global warming movement, Al Gore has to be willing to walk to walk, not just talk the talk, when it comes to home energy use," said Tennessee Center for Policy Research President Drew Johnson.
In total, Gore paid nearly $30,000 in combined electricity and natural gas bills for his Nashville estate in 2006.

How dare anyone question the scientific genius of Gore. The reason so many people believe climate change is manmade is because so many people are idiots. It is simply a convenient ruse to usher in the New World Order, with Al “Einstein” Gore and his band of celebrity hypocrites heading up the elite class of clowns. He couldn’t get elected, so this is his alternate path to power.

It should be named the lying 60. How about '60 Liberal Minutes'? That's pretty much what it always is.

Toby Keith has become a full blown Lib! He drank the cool Aid years ago. It's easy to forget that just because you like an artist's song, that they may in reality be dumb as a board.
To: TornadoAlley3
HEy Albert Gorestein, what about that yellow sphere floating in the sky? It’s kinda hot. How ya gonna cool that off?

Anything that needs a $300 million budget in order to sell it sounds suspicious, how much did Newton spend? It's worse than that. They threaten careers, livelihoods, reputations, for anyone who will not capitulate. It's as if Newton hired gangs of thugs to kneecap anyone who didn't agree with his theories.
To: Starboard
That would be good. They make up more stuff than the Clinton’s.

I think Gore would need about 30,000 square feet of solar panels to supply his electricity usage. It would cost roughly 2 million dollars to do it. I suspect his solar panels are just for show.
