He had sent out a letter a few weeks back, thanking everyone, but vauge on what he would do next. Though it sounded like he meat to do something political.
To: pissant
this is where Thompson’s heart was all along. He only ran for office for his party and his country.

I find this vaguely irritating.

Any word on which agency Obama’s signing with?

Fred Thompson is getting back to pretending to be commander in chief. As opposed to pretending to be a Presidential Candidate.

More likely a remake of “Night of the Living Dead Candidate.”

I hope he gets back to at least doing substitute work for Paul Harvey
on the radio.
Mr. Harvey is getting along in years and Fred would sure be a good
replacement when Harvey hangs up his microphone.

I had hoped that Thompson would hang in there in his run for President. In listening to him discuss some of our more pressing problems, he sounded knowledgeable. To bad he didn't have the fire to run.

If he could have pretended to be a real candidate, he might have done something......oh, well, easy come easy go.
To: pissant
well, the presidential run boosted his profile.
Could lead to more roles.

Already posted once but what the he.. More opportunities for Fred bashers.

A potentially heated thread. I expect the Mittens and Hunterites to chime in and sneer at Fred for draining votes and resources away from them.

this is where Thompsons heart was all along. He only ran for office for his party and his country.I've never watched Law & Order so I haven't seen him on network t.v. I do think he is a great actor on the big screen though.
Saw Thompson as I was watching the first part of The Hunt for Red October last night on Spike TV; he a very good actor.
To: Kuksool
Naw, the Hunter-Fred wars are over. Both sides lost.
