As opposed to pretending to be a Presidential Candidate.

I had hoped that Thompson would hang in there in his run for President. In listening to him discuss some of our more pressing problems, he sounded knowledgeable. To bad he didn't have the fire to run.

I've never watched Law & Order so I haven't seen him on network t.v. I do think he is a great actor on the big screen though.

Saw Thompson as I was watching the first part of The Hunt for Red October last night on Spike TV; he a very good actor.
