The messages contradict statements Kilpatrick and Beatty gave under oath during a whistleblowers' trial last summer when each denied a romantic relationship.

That's much like Bill Clinton and Monica. Somehow we have let the left-wing media spin it so that Republican bluenoses are persecuting Democratic politicians for nothing more than their private sexual indiscretions. This has got to be challenged every time.

The Democratic Congress passed laws in the 70's and 80's to protect low-ranking women from sexual harassment by their bosses, and also to protect workplace whistleblowers from retaliation. These laws included incentives for lawsuits to be filed, and for powerful mens' sexual and personal and financial history to be explored under oath. And once you get in court, you damn well better tell the truth.
