All campaign fundraising by Obama, Shrillary and the DNC should be required by law to go to paying reparations to descendants of slaves.

Your point makes logical sense, but it ignores one very significant thing: The Democrat party has been enslaving (literally), depriving, emasculating (ADC that wrecked the family structure, govt dependency that punishes self improvement, govt schools that make the same nearly impossible, bought off or ignorant "leaders" who lead them to blame "whitey," "pastors" who teach ultimately self-destructive hate and victimhood, ad nauseum), and using the African American population in this country for political gain over the past several decades.

Sorry, but few if any populations could survive such a protracted, insidious, and plain evil assault. The only one I can think of is the Jewish population. The plight of African Americans in the US is all the more evil because the enslaved (it's just under different terms now) have been convinced through enforced ignorance instilled by govt run schools socialist "feel good" indoctrination centers and traitors in their midst to vote their Democrat "masters" into power.

Obama's pitch is just another form of the same in better looking packaging. It is the same "blame whitey, vote for me" version of the same old strategy. It is truly sick if you understand it.

African Americans' only hope is to pull themselves up and ally themselves who don't care one whit about their race but rather want to deal with them as individuals. Why? Because that is the only way to achieve true valid self-worth, which is the only way out of being a slave.

The irony is that when this comes to a head, probably at the DNC convention in Denver, the indoctrination will trump the actual facts, and "whitey," conservatives, and Republicans will get most of the blame. The people who have KNOWINGLY and INTENTIONALLY assaulted their bretheren over the past will get a pass and in fact will probably gain politically from it.

Conservatives and the GOP are not blameless, though: We have let the socialists (aka Democrats) and race baiters get away with their subjugation of the African American population for years and years. I know, when you try to reach out (I have), you often get bit and you ego gets hurt. Well, that is the true place where "turn the other cheek" should apply. Hey, not saying it's easy, but the alternatives are truly awful. OK, rant off.

In the late 1960s I changed schools and for the first time had black classmates. They didn't like me and I couldn't understand why, but again they didn't like any of the white kids.
In the early 1970s I joined the Military and was told I was racist. I didn't really understand what it meant. I also realized Black's dislike for White people had turned to hate. I didn't even know these Blacks, who were mainly from northern cities, and they actually hated me.
In the late 1970s I was told by several companies that they wanted to hire me but couldn't because I wasn't a minority.
In the 1980s White guilt was emphasized and for the last 20+ years I have been told I should feel sorry for actions against a class of people who have, in my lifetime, been given preferential treatment in employment, social services, education, and every opportunity to succeed.
Blacks wonder why we don't get it. Why we won't apologize for Black tribes capturing other blacks and selling them to slave traders. Why we won't apologize for every social ill that has been bestowed on the Black community. Why we won't apologize for a prison system that is full of young Black men and women. Why we won't provide billions of dollars in payments to every Black man, woman, and child for America's past actions in slavery.
Well, I for one haven't done anything to apologize for. My family never owned slaves. I have never been on welfare or been allowed to partake of any other social program thus leaving that money to be available to minorities who won't work. I have paid taxes my entire adult life so that my government can give it away and develop a class of people believing they are entitled to be given free everything I have worked and sacrificed for.
No Mr. Obama, I don't understand your preacher's hate for America, white people, and your support for that hate. If you want to threaten a Quite Riot, bring it on because I believe I am not the only one that is feed-up with your nonsense.

Good question. But if you wanna see what exceeding responibility for the past means, take a look at the germans. They’re still sorry for everything all the time that happend betwenn 1933 and 1945. Some examples ?
