At least residents of Hawaii pay next to nothing for heating and A/C.

I am 23 days away from a 2-week vacation on Maui. Thankfully we are splitting the cost of the rental car with another couple we are going with. We pay for the rental car, they pay for the gas. Wonder who gets the better deal?

The Republicans controlled the whole shebang for six years and did next to nothing to expand our domestic drilling and refining capacity. Instead the President and key members of Congress like John McCain have jumped on the globull warming bandwagon. It was time to tell the greenies to STFU a long time ago, but neither party has had the ‘nads to do so.

Ever driven a car on Maui? 20 mpg might be possible is light throttle freeway cruising, but that does not happen on Maui. Slow and stop and go is the rule, so that boat is guzzling a lot of gas not even moving. He’ll be lucky to see over 10 mpg.
