Romney, allegedly the most Reaganesque candidate--go figure! The more I hear these jokers invoking Ronald Reagan, the more I distrust them.

Ronald Reagan was exceptional for many reasons; one of those reasons is that he was unabashedly himself. If you've done any research on Mr. Reagan's background, you know that he was probably the last of the self-made presidents. Vying for the title of "new Reagan" by emulating the man's superficial qualities is cheap and dishonest, in my opinion. The current political culture's template and reality are two very different things. We still miss you, RWR--but you won't be back until Judgment Day.

The Romney campaign should be ashamed. I think Governor Romney knew what he was dealing with, in a post-Roe v. Wade America, when he was "pro-choice."
