Politicians, unlike decent people, don’t deserve the benefit of the doubt. They lie for a living.
There are three things that have brought down empires, for thousands of years:
1. Sex
2. Money
3. Power
Some leaders are satisfied with one or two. Then there are some that just have to have all three.
Other Governors? Birds of a feather, and all that. Didn’t this take place during the Governor’s Annual Convention in D.C.?

I was watching a local cable news program last night (NY1 on Time Warner). The commentator asked one of the three reporters whether anyone knew if Spitzer had a habit of frequenting prostitutes. All three said no, but one smirked while doing so. He knew.
He supposedly had sex with her without a condom. That’s kinky and dangerous enough.
