I thought Dr. Atkins hated carbohydrates. The Atkins people I knew would refuse to eat any vegetable.

They did Atkins wrong.

I eat a broccoli omelet every day on Atkins!

I’ve learned to love it— eat it 5 times a week or so.

Just stay downwind from me. ;)

Eating it regularly will eliminate that problem, once your system gets used to it. Same with beans.

1 c. frozen broccoli, steamed and drained.
2 eggs, (whatever other veggies you like, onion or green peppers, mushrooms)
1/2 c cheese (I use Mexican blend)

Scramble eggs (no milk)
Butter flavored Pam in a frying pan
Heat and put in eggs, cover. When it cooks to brown on the bottom, add fillings and top with cheese. Cover until cheese melts, fold and eat.

Yum!

Carbs are great as long as they are not simple carbs.
You really can eat tons of veggies on Atkins just not breads. I don’t lose a ton, but I feel tons better
