"...a breakthrough for the security industry." More like a breakthrough for Big Brother.

Britain makes camera that "sees" under clothes They been selling them things on the back of comic books for decades.

Every kid who read a comic book in the 50s and 60s knows there's nothing new about this technology:

It does not reveal physical body details and the screening is harmless, the company says.I'd buy that for shilling.

Sony mistakenly released this technology back in the 1990s with their night-vision video cameras. When used during the daytime, the night vision technology sees right through clothing. Those of us who had these cameras were offered refunds if we turned these "defective" units in.
We knew better. And we have a lot more fun filming the cheerleaders at NFL football games.
Hypothetically speaking, of course.
(Insert maniacal scientist laughter here.)

Big Deal!
I’ve seen x-ray specs advertised in the back of comic books as a kid, and for only $1.
Why don’t they just buy those?

Sony had this years ago!
On some Sony video cams if you activated the night mode during daylight.
They were quick to ‘update ‘ that feature.
