This view of modernity destroying the sacred traditional is very common among anthropologists I know.

Given that the other Dem would be the first movement feminist (and how many of those can there be left in 2008?) to be elected president, it's not much of a choice.

Should Obama get a compliant Democrat Congress and Senate, the damage done to this country and to liberty as we have known it, would be incalculable. His own campaign said in a LA Time article that he was never a REGULARLY practicing Muslim, leading one to infer that he was an IRREGULARLY practicing Muslim. A great analysis of the political gift that keeps on giving Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama. It goes far to explain her affirmative action nourished resentments toward her country and most of it’s citizens. Now we can only hope that the Barack He who must not be middle named Obama campaign does not muzzle her and deprive the GOP of a priceless asset. Bur from what I hear that is a dangerous proposition for any worker in that campaign. She appears to be as unmanageable and onery as the Hildabeast.

Hey...thanks for that article on Ms. Obama. It sure explains a lot.

It seems to me that she had two roads to go and she chose the one of misery. She could have given back to the black community and remained a positive person about this country, but she did not.

She would be a nightmare as our first lady and make Shrillery look like Martha Washington...may it NEVER come to pass.
