If Mr. McCain were to choose Mr. Giuliani, that would confirm for me that I’d be voting third party.

Rudy would be a lousy choice if McCain expects to attract the conservatives enough so that they will hold their noses and vote for him. Guliani is anti-gun, pro-amnesty, pro-sanctuary cities, pro-abortion ....why would he make a good Veep????

“Rudy has been unfairly slandered as being pro-abortion. That was always malicious nonsense. Giuliani is a social conservative along the lines of the Manhattan Institute, the think tank that originated many of his best ideas as mayor.”

This is pure bullsh!t. It entirely destroys the little credibility of the braindead author. Up until the 2008 election, Mr. Giuliani was actually in favor of keeping PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTIONS legal.

I thought the Republicans were stupid for running Bob Dole. They’re doing much worse this year.

I just loved the photo op with McCain and Bush. That’s the stuff a dozen Democrat TV commercials will be made of.

Why should they care about the base?

Most of you are slaves to fear and will vote for the Republican ticket no matter who’s on it. The FR polls shows as much.

The question is, If the POTUS is taken by anybody other than a psycho, who do you want making the subsequent decisions?

veeps are sometimes chosen from those who tried but failed to get the potus nomination

but not from among the absolute losers

rudy had one major constituency - snowbirds living in florida

the rest of his support was created by his personal pr network

i am going to hold my nose and vote for mcpain, hoping to help prevent getting billary/obama

he could chose ronald reagan as his veep

it won’t make me hold my nose any less

his admin will be HIS and no veep of his will be a major policy influence on it - no veep is

i don’t give a &%%$$0 who his veep is, it makes no difference whatsoever - accept to the ignorant sheeple

any conservative who would give their vote to billary/obama due to mcpain’s veep choice simply asks conservatism to commit political suicide in 2008

you only get ANY voice if you sit at the table, not if, in a fit of childish pique, you pick up your ball and go home

the mcpain veep choice will be

younger

married with children

NOT holding a federal office

an incumbent goper, prominent, well known, well liked in their own state

with no past positions offensive to conservatives

very good, smart and amiable communicator

someone from whom those qualities will come out in a very, very active grass roots campaign agenda

someone who the media will cover, often, as a rising goper

someone whose presentation will appear the antithesis of many of mcpain’s negatives

“Rudy for Veep?”

Why have two “liberal conservatives” on the same ticket?

Dick Cheney is wise, experienced, thoughtful, calm, humorous, and ready to step up to be president. Cheney is not a hot electoral commodity; he excels at governance. So does Rudy Giuliani.

What an insult to Cheney. Giuliani can't hold a candle to Cheney.

And he's a liberal, to boot.

I think he could name Rudy as his potential AG nominee and score a lot of points.

Oh, Great! The man that wants to grab your guns, and thinks "Freedom is about authority", as AG? Frankly, I think Giuliani should be prohibited from holding any position of power in this country. Put him on the ballot with the guy that wants to outlaw free speech in elections and the fascists have the perfect ticket.
