And for the Democratic Primary... ?? = (I guess no Presidential write-in candidates are allowed in this Texas Primary.) However, as mentioned above:   Can Democrats in Texas `cross over' and vote in the GOP Primary?   If so, Conservative Democrats and Union members should `cross over' and Vote for conservative California Congressman Duncan Hunter!

Anyone know if Democratic Presidential write-in candidates are allowed in the other three States (Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont)?

Fred is on the ballot in Texas.

(I have a number of employees that live there -— Kermit, TX anyone?)

~ daydreams ~

Well, it’s your primary, but I hope you select a suitable nominee for Nov. Not likely that the Dems will.

~ daydreams ~ - In this Primary 08, it seems like a lot of conservative leaders, ray-dee-oh & teevee hosts, and activists were daydreaming their way through ‘07 & the start of the primaries 08. Hit the ground running? Not this time.

And, was there some conservative weakness or betrayal involved? But for now, with what is left with the primaries, what can be done to get brokered conventions, in BOTH parties?

All the previously announced candidates are on the Texas ballot. I expect Duncan Hunter will get several hundred votes statewide.

To vote tomorrow, each person just needs to go to their correct precinct, and have a voter registration card or a drivers license. There have already been a lot of cross-over voters - both directions. Duncan and Fred are both still on the ballot, as well as ‘uncommitted’. I voted for Duncan.

If that's true, it's some sort of a political gesture which doesn't really register. I've never seen a vote total for him in the later races reported in either print or television.

I don't know what voting for him would do at this point, anyway. McCain will probably clinch the nomination tomorrow.

I voted early in the Texas primary and voted for Duncan Hunter. Some of the talk show hosts were reminded everyone that he was on the ballot.

I’m not positive McCain can clinch tomorrow. The MSM delegate counts count all delegates and still are too high. He needs 317 pledged delegates to ice it no matter how he screws up in the next 6 months. All 88 Ohio delegates are unpledged. 137 pledged are available in Texas. RI and VT have 17 each.

Duncan Hunter endorsed Mike Huckabee, and might want you to vote for Huckabee.

Hunter and Minuteman Gilchrist accompanied Mike Huckabee to our southern border, just a couple of days ago. Maybe they are grooming him to be POTUS.

Okay, maybe he won’t clinch it tomorrow, but it’s like leading in the Super Bowl 52-10 with five minutes left to go.

It’s like Don Meredith singing on Monday Night Football, “Turn out the lights, the party’s over...”

I early voted for Duncan in Texas. I kind of wish I had gone Huckabee just to send a stronger message of McCain rejection.

He has to take 52% of the remaining pledged delegates to clinch an assured first round win. The score is closer than you think.
