I think these comments are how indicative of how far we have to go in order to get a fair shake with the people of most European nations, especially France.

My personal opinion of the Euro attitude is that, at the very heart of it, envy is operating in the background of their thinking and that makes us the bad guy, until proven otherwise, in every situation.

It may be subconscious, but it's still there.

A lot of them can't understand why a person in the United States, living at (or even below) the poverty level, still has an automobile (or two), one or more color TV's with a vcr or dvd player, a cable hook-up, one or more cell phones, air conditioning, and food stamps for groceries.

Other countries see this in the news and it pi$$es them off and makes them envious. Some of them go "all the way" and come in as illegal entrants, so they can cash in on it.

Well, DUH!

She is right.

After all, if she wasn't killed by the attacks or she wasn't affected by losing a loved one in the attacks, then of course, she would have to question the reality of 9/11. Seeing and experience things first-hand is the definitive proof of events. If she wasn't there, it didn't happen.

She also didn't go to the moon and she doesn't anybody in her immediate family or circle of friends that went there. She wasn't there for the holocaust, so it didn't happen either.

Now, I wonder, if she hasn't been affected by global warming, will she believe in the hysteria surrounding "climate change". If she never saw any of the ice ages, then of course, according to her flawed mind, they never happened and scientists all over the world have been lying to us for centuries. But, being the good liberal or socialist that she seems to be, she'll definitely believe in "global warming", no questions asked. It's only when the other matters, such as 9/11, become inconvenient to her beliefs, that she'll deny the truth regarding them.

At first, I was inclined to disregard what she said as coming from another uneducated pretender with no impulse control and even less brain. But then I realized she has an Oscar.
