Yes.
It was Karl Marx writing to one of his followers that despaired over the growing middle-class causing a collapse of the Communist revolution.
It went something like this, "We can always use the environment to control the people."
Those promoting the "global warming" scare, have the same goal in mind.
Not only the same temperature drop, but we have had winter natural disasters declared because of cold and snow in areas that rarely ever declare them. People have frozen to death by the hundreds. So climate change has caused deaths and perhaps the greatest natural disaster in modern times (China Freeze > 300,000 homes collapsed) and this is considered by the 'climate change specialists' to be 'not very unusual'.
How in the world did our planet end up with such idiocy for leadership ?

I am so perplexed by this issue of Global Warming or Cooling, I noticed, as I was going to bed, that the temperature had dropped and , as the day wares on the temperature was rising.
Could it be both or is all of it CRAP? /s

Well, it was global warming but Obama darkened the atmosphere to cool Gaia and save us and our solus from the hell of Anthropogenic Global Warming which by the way the Great Satan Bush was responsible for.
I couldn’t have said it any better.
I certainly hope so, just once I'd like to be able to plant the garden earlier than the second week of June.
Three years ago the wife planted her flower/annuals the first week and I asked her if she had been smoking crack!
"What? it's nearly summer, where do you think we live Siberia!"
One week latter 21 degrees and all her stuff was dead.
"Looks like Siberia to me."
