Could be as you suggest. This article is from the Jerusalem Post, understandably they might put the more dire interpretation on the article that it has. But could be they are basing it on nothing more that what we see: these photos and announcements by the military.
Looks operational. They are ready to go.
You should see how they fold up to store in the same space as a CH-46 here.
Yes, 17 American lives yet to be avenged.
Exactly 1 week ago, the Russian spy ship off Syria’s coast got in trouble in heavy seas.
Now, 1 week later, Hezbollah has fired over 100 rockets into Israel in a couple days.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....
I’m sure the IAF has much better pics...;0)
Best flyover in recent years: The Israeli Air Force buzzing Assad’s palace. What a wake-up call.
Hopefully the next time someone will bring along the JDAMs.
The COLE will be on the wrong side of the ditch for doing that. But I have never understood why we went into Iraq and gave Yemen a free pass. I just hope the state department doesn't play around and put our ships in harms way by playing see saw foreign policy.
the byline says ASSOCIATED PRESS so not so sure its hype by JPress
Sorry to be dumb, but why are our ships moving there (if it is not just a simple exercise)?
"Our enemies may be irrational, even outright insane, driven by nationalism, religion, ethnicity or ideology. They do not fear the United States for its diplomatic skills or the number of automobiles and software programs it produces. They respect only the firepower of our tanks, planes and helicopter gunships."

Interesting. On Glen Beck’s radio show Thursday morning, he said that he had a gut feeling that something big was going to happen in the Middle East.
Glen said he’s had that feeling for awhile, but he chose to mention his inner instinct today after he learned that large members of Al-Queda are massing in Gaza. (A staging area for an attack on Israel?)
OK, thanks, I see! I didn’t really mean hype, that is, not that they are dishonest, not at all, but that it’s very easy to get that perspective on things from where they live, sort of in the middle of a war zone, so that nothing looks routine even if it is. I appreciate what you’re saying.
Gorgeous photo.
shaping up to be some interesting times in the Middle East . .
I’d imagine the Nassau isn’t traveling alone but with her group . . . isn’t that more than 3 ships?
....err, make that large NUMBERS of Al-Queda, not large members....LOL!
bttt
“I have a gut feeling something big is about to happen in the middle east.”
That feeling could be proven accurate almost any day during the past 100 years (or longer, much longer, but just to keep it relevant to the current players).
I was listening as well. Glen seems to get good info. on these things. I would not be surprised if something big happens over there shortly.
