I agree with everyone who has posted that it’s a disgrace that these men humiliate their wives even more by having them stand in front of millions of viewers while the men get tears in their eyes because they got caught!
No way did she WANT to be standing there!

" the supposed turning point in his life when he read the Life magazine article about the man bleaching his skin that didn't exist. But it was seared into his memory." Actually, there was a book entitled "Black Like Me" which was something of a sensation in the 60's, I read it. It chronicled some guy who managed supposedly stain himself dark and disguise himself as a black man, just to see how people treated him.

The doctor who saved my life is head of the Islamic Temple here in town. He’s a wonderful surgeon.
