Truth is the guy beating her is just as bad. A legend in his own mind. Neither of these two are worthy of the presidency, John McCain just barely is. He should be able to beat Obama but he has a way of alienating the very people he needs. He might just blow it.

The difference is the Messianic cult following of Obama. You cant anticipate it and therefore you cant change your style of campaign to fight it. Kinda reminds me of The Mule in Asimov's Foundation Trilogy

"How did the Clinton people manage to run such an embarrassingly bad campaign? "Obviously manifests the senior management and leadership tendencies.

Actually, some may find it quite handy to have someone to blame the “run away inflation” on.

Rush hopes Hillary stays alive to split the Dem Party
Its going to happen anyway. Her synchophants won’t rally behind the guy who finally slayed Hillary.
Someone should send Rush this Calabrese piece for his stack of stuff.

There is no comparison between Carter and Obama. Carter was just a bumbling clown, when you came down to it. Obama is smart, charismatic, and learned at the feet of the socialist master Saul Alinsky. The worst in Carter’s background was scratching around in the Georgia dirt growing peanuts. Put a smart, charismatic socialist in the WH for four years, with a free hand from Congress (if the ‘Rats retain both chambers, which they likely will), you won’t recognize the country after that disaster. And forget about “coming back” in ‘10 or ‘12. Alinsky tells you how to deal with that prospect.

She entered the campaign too early and her screeching voice and whining have grated the entire American electorate, even democrats.
Yes...and couple that with the obvious aging that she's done over the past few months, showing she's not up to the task.
She's not even her party's nominee, yet she's more ground up than a President approaching the end of his second term.

The curious thing about the Witch, as opposed to Obama, is that the Clintons’ total corruption and opportunism would actually make them less dangerous in the WH than Obama. Their defects are actually virtues, compared to him, because they’d be wiling to make reasonable compromises to keep the economy and country going, while Obama and his evil wife are likely to engage in an orgy of anti-American destruction and Mugabeite “change” for the pure fun of it.

How did the Clinton people manage to run such an embarrassingly bad campaign?Because you can polish a turd, but in the end, it's still a turd.

You nailed it. Campaign, champagne, it all comes down to the candidate. Hillary couldn’t hack it, going back to her bumbling answer to Russert’s question about Spitzer’s plan for illegals to have driver’s licenses. All she had to do was answer the question in the simple, correct way, “No.” But she mumbled and bumbled around, trying, as usual, to have it both ways. That was the breach that started the collapse.

IMO, she should have run to the RIGHT of Hussein, she would have done much, much, better.
Her tone, attitude, and personality is more fitting for a tough minded “father figure” rather than trying to out “mother” Hussein.
I know I am the minority, but she seems to be trying to be something she is not, and touts policies for votes, she KNOWS will not work. Her heart is of a commie, but her head tells her different, she is smart enough to know her plans are not logical and will fail, hence her skitzoid, behavior, she does not believe what she is saying.
Hussein is a kid, therefore he still believes in the commie dream, is idealistic and naive.
She should have been her true self, it shows when she is lying and trying to pass off her commie programs as legitimate solutions.

“But its really not that hard to figure out. In truth, they had nothing to work with a problem that was only exacerbated by the fact that they were so thoroughly convinced of the opposite”
To paraphrase Rush, Hellary’s “experience” argument is as ridiculous as Brett Farve’s wife claiming to have enough experience to play quarterback since she was married to him and attended some team meetings.

She was none of the things that so many people seemed convinced she was. Let's hope we can show the same thing about Obama.

Wholehearted agreement. And even if the Clintons hate the USA, I can see HRC willing to use force against any country that attacks us, if only because she'd take an attack on the USA as an attack on her.She obviously personalizes everything. But BHO-?????
