Duh. Either the article was added to since I read it or, more likely, I just stopped reading and thought I've got to post this on FR.
This is California, folks, no castle doctrine here. I'm not sure how the police/judges handle self defense cases.

In your defense CCC, it was there when I read it last night but I almost didn’t read it because there was a separation. I only found it because I scanned down and saw Vlasak’s name then went back and read it all.
