Did you catch the "Romney is getting back in" rumor this morning?

Seriously, who pines for Romney? What could be more pathetic?

Now Fred... That's a different matter altogether!!!

I wouldn’t be any more enthusiastic about Fred, Romney, etc than receiving my auto insurance bill.

Not that I no longer consider myself Republican (or conservative), but I have been sorely disappointed in most of the candidates’ conduct, and REALLY disappointed in the conduct of many on FR.

Are you assuming that anyone of those you mentioned would have a chance after getting defeated in the primaries?.... If so, what makes you feel they would win now?

Some states used to have ‘sore loser laws’ but I don’t know if they still exist or are even legal. I think Buchanan dropped out of the GOP and ran as an Independent back in his glory days didn’t he.

Independents have to meet the qualifying criteria in each state to be placed on the ballot with includes signatures, paying a fee and maybe other things. The primaries of the Democrats, Republicans have no bearing on that timing.

There are a lot of people angry about their choices right now.

The problem is that being angry now is not a solution.

If the angry mob had started donating and working for their preferred candidate a year ago, things might be different now. As it it, the choice either liberal light or full blown socialist.

I’m not arguing the choices don’t stink. I’m just saying that we will get one or the other. Third party runs will only make one or the other alternatives more likely.

I haven’t had time to read through the thread as it is very busy at work right now. (Some nerve :) ).
I only suggested Rudy or Fred because they came to mind. It was 6:30 in the morning and I am P*ssed off that we should be forced with only one choice. I will read through later after work and respond to anyone that spoke directly to me.
