“People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.”
—George Orwell—

P!ss on the left! How does the war affect them? They still drive in their limos and curse the US, but those sissies wouldn’t lift a finger for someone else’s freedom.

Petronski: Bruce Springsteen: not relevant since 1987

Rocko: I'd have said 1984. His live performances have seriously declined since 1979, in my estimation.

I always thought he sucked, so no surprise to me...

I haven't bought a ticket or recording of his for years, and I guess I never will again. Trying to undermine those who are fighting to keep me safe and free is too much for me to stomach.

Bye, bye, Bruce. It's been nice to meet you.

Narcissistic tax-sheltered musicians filled with so much self importance. If it was up to them, we’d have surrendered long ago.

Not really news. I would be totally surprised if they wrote songs in support of our troops.

Oh, I see Phil Donahue directed a show about the creation of the film. That says it all.

What’s weird is, there are no veterans in this band of rich, limousine-riding, anti-American, anti-capitalist piles of chicken crap.

What did you expect from those guys, an all star rendition of God Bless America?

OHIO Written by NEIL YOUNG:

Tin soldiers and Nixon’s coming
We’re finally on our own
This summer I hear the drumming
Four dead in Ohio

Gonna get down to it soldiers are cutting us down
Should have been down long ago
What if you knew her and found her dead on the ground
How can you run when you know.

Gonna get down to it soldiers are cutting us down
Should have been down long ago
What if you knew her and found her dead on the ground
How can you run when you know.

Neil never did get around to that “74 dead in o-Waco” protest ditty during the Clinton years, did he...

Yep, how many of them were protesting when Clinton was bombing Yugoslavia?

>>At least Kurt Cobain knew deep down how mediocre he really was and how vacuous the music had become. Vedder actually believes he has depth. The dude took too many longboards upside the head in his San Diego days.<<

Exactly! Cobain never took himself seriously...even called Weird Al Yankovic “a genius” for spoofing their “Smells Like Teen Spirit” song.

Vedder is just an overrated hack, trying SO HARD to prolong that dead corpse called Pearl Jam.

Another anti-war record?

Groaaaaaan....

It’s the same ole formula: might as well call it ‘BDS:super sounds of the lost cause”.

"All proceeds from the sale of the album will benefit Iraq Veterans Against the War."

If you are against the war(?) then don't join the Army.

Duh!

“Ten” was one of the best albums of the 90’s. Unfortunately, a few members of Pearl Jam decided it would be a good idea to let Vedder write the music as well as the lyrics. Ever since then they’ve sucked worse than Monica. (Although VS. had a few good moments).
