Neil and Pearl Jam made a CD, Mirror Ball, together.
Man, that is some great music!

If you check the website, you can see how the IVAW is promoting subversion within the ranks. I wonder how much Soros money is involved?

Young’s been all over the map since 9/11. He pays Bush compliments, calls for his impeachment, writes patriotic WOT songs then follows them up with anti-Bush protest records... and he likes to remind people that he voted for Reagan every chance he gets.

More than anything, he strikes me as just another aging rocker desperate to keep his name in the papers. I don’t think he even knows what he believes anymore.

>>Whats really odd is that lately Neil Young has been a Bush supporter and taking shots at his colleagues for taking cheap shots at conservatives. He has had some sort of epiphany. But this album and its release were before he made this conversion.<<

Young NEVER said he SUPPORTED Bush. He just said “Bush was a good LEADER” and he was underestimated’.

Different meanings. Neil Young is still a scumbag.

Oh BTW, Pearl Jam is still alive? The 90’s Grunge movement just called, they want their flannel shirts back.

Somebody remind these clowns that it’s not 1968, Woodstock is over, and Nehru jackets are out of style.

The 1990's: The decade that killed rock n' roll once and for all. Pearl Jam, with their meaningless anthems and their cardboard Jim Morrison replica frontman, played a big role in that.

At least Kurt Cobain knew deep down how mediocre he really was and how vacuous the music had become. Vedder actually believes he has depth. The dude took too many longboards upside the head in his San Diego days.

Soros and David “No Nukes” Fenton can’t be far, no question.

Yeah, but I really liked Tunnel of Love.

So did I. I remember being shocked at how good it was at the time, and how much sections of it reminded me of Nebraska. I'd pretty much written him off after Born in the U.S.A..

I guess this is a nice counterpoint against all the anti-islamofascist movies and songs that came out after 9/11.....oh.....nevermind.

I was living in Manhattan when BITUSA came out....some tunes were catchy. You heard it everywhere.

I liked Nebraska actually.

But all that Born To Run crescendo wall of sound stuff just wasn’t my favorite cup of tea....not him, Southside Johnny or any of that sons of Phil Spector sounding thing.

I have a cousin who went to Bruce shows all over the country for years....cried every time Glory Days played.

I was more of a Deadhead ...it’s an acquired taste admittedly.

Now I’m just a simple redneck...and happy.

You know, it’s all a business with them. They make their living attaching emotion to their work, trying to get people to spend money on their songs. There just isn’t anything else out there right now EXCEPT the war to help sales! That is a true measure of a has-been.
