No, it still doesn't make me be able to support him. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if McCain himself didn't have something to do with this whole thing. Now, he can say he is a REAL conservative because the NYT is slamming him. I read where he is actually using this as a fundraising issue! He has already sent emails out to his supporters asking for money over it.
I'm with Rush on this, not surprised at all.
The NYT and this Minneapolis rag are attempting smear McCain with innuendo. I don't think that it's possible for the Lib media to stoop any lower.
Utterly despicable and, for the record, McLame was not my guy, but I sent a donation to his campaign today.
This ticked me off. Forget about McLame. Think about his family! This is coldblooded character assassination and it should be condemnded whatever our opinion is of McLame.
This may actually turn out to be something, although I doubt it, as it’s news from, what, 8 years ago, but I’d like to see better sources than “an unnamed aide”, or “a person close to the McCain campaign who prefers to remain anonymous”.
The reason this came out in the NYT now instead of closer to the election? They didn’t want that other bastion of truthiness and patriotism, The New Republic, to put it out first.
Gosh I’m shocked, just shocked, that a Huckabee would be posting duplicate information about McCain allegations! Shocked I tell you!
McCain is miles better then those two marxists.

A month later, McCain married Cindy in Phoenix, where the couple would move. The wedding party included a couple of McCain's high-profile friends from Washington. Sen. William Cohen was the best man. Sen. Gary Hart was a groomsman.

John McCain has a beautiful wife, and great kids grown up now. The scum at the Times are merely working their evil butts off for their political god, Barry. Sick bastards chose the pubby we now have and are now crucifying him with fabrications just like the Rather crap.

Nov. 2007 — The NYT gets the tip that McCain [allegedly] had an intimate relationship with this lobbyist.
Jan. 25 — The NYT endorses McCain.
Feb. 21 — The hit piece.
So they endorsed him with the knowledge that they were going to slime him later. I’m hoping this backfires, big time.
