Rep. Paul appears to take the U.S. Constitution seriously. This is generally regarded as a critical blunder by most political experts and may have severely hampered his campaign. Dr. Paul is also a gynecologist. This gives him a perspective on women’s tissues that is unduplicated by any of the other candidates. Paul has been endorsed by Alice’s Restaurant customer Arlo Guthrie.

We are going to see the name of whoever becomes president in print and hear it over the airwaves for the next four years. Of all the candidates, Ron Paul’s name is the shortest. In print it will use less ink. Using less ink means lower costs and less impact on the environment. On broadcast news, it won’t take as long to say his name. This will save precious time, allowing broadcasts to end earlier or move on to more interesting topics.

In sum, it seems clear that electing Ron Paul president will have less negative impact on the economy and the environment than electing any of the others.

Maybe this is why the military supports him.

How could Ron Paul be a terrorist sympathizer? He doesn't even believe terrorists exist.

Huh? From a Ron Paul Campaign Mailer sent in NH:

"We've Got Unfinished Business - And Ron Paul will get it done".."Ron Paul will hunt down those responsible for 9/11 first"...."Secure Our Borders & Hunt Down the 9/11 Terrorists - that's Ron Paul's Goal." ... "Take out Bin Laden and his radical allies"..."Stop closing military bases and rebuild our Armed Forces"..."Secure our borders and halt Islamic Jihadist infiltrators."..."American and Ron Paul Agree - We need a stronger Strategy"..."Hunting Down Osama Bin Laden & Taking Him Out IS JOB #1"

I don't see how you could conclude that someone who considers "Taking out" Osama Bin Laden as "JOB #1" [his emphasis in the original] is either a terrorist sympathizer or doesn't believe terrorists exist.

Chasing down and killing Osama Bin Laden and all his Jihadist pals in the tribal areas along the Afghan/Pakistani border seems like a great idea to me.

After you hit 62 or 65, you HAVE to apply for Medicare. You, as I understand it, then fall under THAT system instead of Tricare. It should be Tricare or your closest military hospital/sickbay until you shuffle off this mortal coil... but it’s not.

Somehow Republican Party Elite shifted “Pro American” from wanting to Hunt Down OBL/AQ to Nation Building in Iraq. I’m not sure exactly how they did it with the rank and file but for the most part those neo-cons did a masterful job.

I am also happy to be in the minority who does NOT support the 3 mainstream media-promoted globalists, Hillary, Obama and McCain.

ME too. Why anyone who claims they care about our national sovereignty would vote for any of these three CFR member, Soros supported NWO cheerleaders is beyond me.

You have done nothing but post vicious, slandering, misleading hateful comments against a man who does more to preserve our freedoms and constitution than almost anyone else, definitely more than anyone else currently running. Your actions speak a lot louder than your words.

As for what you said earlier, yes, I am telling you how it sounded. It sounded like you were trying to say that YOUR opinion is how most people feel. Sorry, as someone rb22982 mentioned earlier, the majority of this country is opposed to the war and wants it to end. You must be hanging out ONLY on FR or neoconservative sites, because apparently in YOUR mind, your beliefs are the norm. They are not. I'm done talking to you, it is boring and pointless to talk to people who can't debate, but constantly resort to name-calling and ad-hominems... and contradict their actions with their words.

“So the question is: are the troops motivated to support a candidate who says that their mission is a lie, that they are dupes, and that they are incapable of accomplishing their mission?”

I would suspect, given your postulation here, that the troops would NOT support such a candidate. But no one from Berkeley or Code Pink is on the ballot anywhere... and I KNOW you know that Dr. Paul has never once said such things. You are a complete liar if you say he has. But then we KNOW you lie about him so what else is new???

You Rupaul suporters have to accept reality; your man's a kook, he is seen as a kook by many people ACROSS THIS COUNTRY, and that's the reason he's so pathetic in the polls. Accept it, it is reality.

BTW...how many delegates does he have? lol!

I feel the same way. I guess the problem is that there are still many people who either aren't aware or disbelieve and scoff at the idea that we're heading towards a one-world government. Or maybe they don't think McCain is a globalist? They are still clinging to the hopeful belief that he is not a bad guy, and that we can pressure him to do the right things. That must be it, because no conservative would knowingly give a stamp of approval to globalism and the destruction of our country.

Now you've done it. You're sure to get the rath of wacky RuPaul supporters who will claim you're making a statement for the "ENTIRE" country.

They should know that you can get a small number of people to believe almost any lie.

******All that, . . . . and yet he cannot garner more than 6% or so of the electorate to this point in the primary process. Wow, I’m impressed. Big deal he raised some much money (especially since I suspect that much of that money comes from tainted sources). He does not get support from voters. The people know he’s a kook.******

You should really be concerned about the power of the MSM. In all my life, I have never seen a political candidate treated in such a derisive manner by the media.

Ron Paul has ignited the greatest grass roots campaign that this country has ever seen. If the PTB were not so afraid of him, his grass roots movement would have generated a huge amount of positive media. Instead, his wins in straw polls, debate polls, etc. were ridiculed by the MSM. Even if they had to lie to do it.

The sad fact is that most people are too involved in getting by, day to day, that they don’t really have time to study the political candidates. Therefore, they can be greatly influenced by the MSM.

Ron Paul has taken on the most powerful forces in our country, the military-industrial complex, the investment bankers, the federal reserve, the one world government, the international industries, etc. All of which are detrimental to the quality of life for the average person in the US.

In the past 30-40 years, we have seen the most rapid redistribution of wealth of any time in our history. And it is all going to the very top of our society.

Ron Paul has not been able to get his message out to the masses, but he has done very well among the people who are politically active. Even on this site, he still gets 15-20% in the polls. And that is with a lot of his active supporters being banned for various reasons.

For those people worried about the advance of radical Islam, the recent events in Kosovo should make them think a bit more about our foreign policies. Our policies have led to an increased foothold for Islam in the Balkans. It will not stop with Kosovo, they will continue to press for a “greater Albania.”

For those concerned about Ron Paul’s foreign policy, do you think his administration would have been so quick to recognize Kosovo as a separate nation?

Even on this site, most people do not think he is a “kook.” A solid 15-20% are supporters and many others agree with him on most of his other positions, except for his foreign policies.

I suppose you think referring to him as Rupaul is cute, but I find it rather juvenile.

***BTW...how many delegates does he have? lol!****

A couple months ago, the Ron Paul haters were claiming that he would not win a single delegate.

Ron Paul has ignited a movement that could change the direction of our country. If he was 20 years younger, I would say he would be president within the next 20 years. Another 5-10 years of high inflation, stagnant wages, etc. will make the average person ready for a major change. Problem is, I don’t see anyone waiting in the wings to take up his ideas.

And also on this site you will find many who consider him a kook. Just look around. I suppose you think referring to him as Rupaul is cute, but I find it rather juvenile.

I care.

A couple months ago, the Ron Paul haters were claiming that he would not win a single delegate.

I don't represent "the Ron Paul haters" because I do not hate the man. I just see him as the kook that he surely is. Nor did I ever say he would not win a single delegate. I knew he would. I didn't know he'd be so pathetic with a mere 14, though.

So he's not only a kook he's also a has been? Okay.

Because anyone with a shred of military education knows this war cannot possibly be won...

Which war are you referring to?

I am in the Navy and a guy I work with was googling his name when he was bored and found his name on the Ron Paul list of military donors. I know for a fact this guy never contributed a dime.

Very interesting...

I don’t believe that Ron Paul is the military choice because I know many people in all branches and not one of them would vote for Ron Paul.

I'm with you on that. I work with active Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines. We talk politics regularly and not a single one of them supports Ron Paul.

Thank you for your service.
