Some pundits are calling him the next John F. Kennedy. He’s not. He’s the next George McGovern. And it’s time people learned the facts.

Because the truth is that Mr. Obama is the single most liberal senator in the entire U.S. Senate. He is more liberal than Ted Kennedy, Bernie Sanders, or Mrs. Clinton.

Never in my life have I seen a presidential frontrunner whose rhetoric is so far removed from his record. Walter Mondale promised to raise our taxes, and he lost. George McGovern promised military weakness, and he lost. Michael Dukakis promised a liberal domestic agenda, and he lost.

Yet Mr. Obama is promising all those things, and he’s not behind in the polls. Why? Because the press has dealt with him as if he were in a beauty pageant.

Don’t forget that Dukakis was 15 or so points ahead in the polls in the summer of 88. When people started paying more attention to the issues as the election got closer, he lost in a landslide

I sense many centrist Dem’s will be considering crossing over to Mccain after watching the “preacher sermon” last night in Texas and after hearing Mrs’ O’s racist comments.
BTW, why are the Networks allowing this “empty suit” to give inauguration speeches for 45 minutes after every primary. Where is the fairness MSM ! Screw them.

Things will change come November. There is not one stae that went for Bush in 2004 that Obama can win in the general election. And McCain could possibly win in places like PA, NH, MN, and afew other states that are traditionally more democrat.

Nice article. Very family friendly. Sort of like hitting someone with a blackjack covered by a doily.

I’ve come to the realization that not only will I be voting for McCain, I will be campaigning for him. I will not defend McCain on his record but I will do my best to help expose Obama as the fraud that he is.

Why are the networks allowing this empty suit a 45 minute campaign speech after every primary? Equal time RNC ! ! The networks should be blasted for this bias, even FOX aired his rambling preacher sermon last night in it’s full entirity.

When people started paying more attention to the issues as the election got closer, he lost in a landslide

Then of course there was that little tank ride incident...

I agree.

After that tart and her “I am finally proud of America” comment, it has become abundantly clear they must never become president and first lady.

I will vote JM.

Bernie Sanders

This is the money shot right here. He is an elected SOCIALIST, and Obama is the left of him.

“I sense many centrist Dem’s will be considering crossing over to Mccain after watching the “preacher sermon” last night in Texas and after hearing Mrs’ O’s racist comments”

I think you’re correct. I live in Texas, and I personally know some of those centrist Dems who will cross and vote for McCain. One of those conservative Dems is a very good friend of mine. We were talking about the upcoming primary, and I asked which way he was leaning. He said he thinks Obama has it locked so he was skipping the primary, but in NOv. he would be voting Mccain. His exact words were “I don’t trust anybody whose main message is to tell me what he thinks I want to hear. Obama talks a lot, but he never says anything”

I’m also considering volunteering for McCain. Like yourself, I wish his record were more to my liking, but Obama just scare me. I get the heebie jeebies listening to his speeches. They’re somewhere between a tent revival and a brainwashing session.
