JC Watts makes more sense, especially if Obama is the opposition. Not a bad thought, that.

Boehner is also from a very safe district in Ohio - a key state.

As the Hispanic population grows, and as some misguided Republicans drive Latinos into the beckoning arms of the Democrats again,
Again? Right!

A two-senator ticket will be too much for the voting public to bear. It will be a governor.
Besides, the GOP does not need help carrying TX.

Hi Basil!
KBH declines - yes, it was in all the papers. LOL

Is this going to be one of those campaigns where it looks like the GOP is trying to lose ?

I vote no on Watts, assuming Obama’s the nominee. Obama’s going to get all the black vote. I like the idea of a female conservative to get women’s votes with HRC out of the picture, but my top choices are Sanford and Pawlenty.
I like the idea of John Boehner also.

Now I like JC watts, don’t get me wrong.
But he sounds like he went to the John Conyers School of Speech.
He’s just not that quick on his feet in interviews I’ve heard. The press would slice and dice him in contrast to the Blue-lipped Smoothie

I can’t believe that anyone would want to be on the train wreck with McCain in the Casey Jones seat.
On the other hand, if team Obama keeps cruising along, hillary might be persuaded to try for the first woman VP in history.

Boehner’s a porker. No thanks. Anyway, Boehner would give the lie to McCain’s claim of vetoing any bill with earmarks.

It’s starting to look like that, isn’t it? I saw McCain tonight; he looked like he is ready for Sunrise Senior Living.
