Marriage is about companionship, friendship, partnership, children, etc.
However, the longer I’m married, the more interested I am in sex... Its good thing for my wife that I was over 40 when she married me or we’d never make it to work on time!

“If a man lies with a woman during her monthly period and has sexual relations with her, he has exposed the source of her flow, and she has also uncovered it. Both of them must be cut off from their people.”

I am totally clueless about what this is supposed to mean?? Do Christians observe this??

I dunno. I’m a Druid.
Just thought I’d ask. What does this “Rev” believe.
To: JRios1968
Yeah but he’ll be out of there like a shot when he finds out that 1) he meant with your own spouse and 2) he wasn’t necessarily referring to oral sex.

No. It’s Levitical and inapplicable, unless one is under the Law. Christians are (by most accounts) are not under the Law, and, in fact, were never under the Covenent of Moses, unless they happened to have been born Jewish. A typical gentile would fall under the Covenent of Noah.
(Some espouse that Christians come under the Law of Moses once adopted into the house of Abraham, but are similtaneously released by the grace of Christ.)

That quote is from the Law given to the Hebrews.
Jesus freed Christians from the law. Because we can’t follow it.
We could never be good enough.
So it doesn’t have to be followed by Christians.

yep, they should call themselves the irrelevant church because that is what they are. There are many scriptures that implore us to overcome our physical and sensual natures and if that’s not done we are very hard pressed to become patient in all things. The church as a whole has fallen down so badly, as Americans suffer. Here’s one church that hasn’t and actually teaches a be still silent prayer that brings people towards true salvation...fhu.com
