no, early in his presidency, the Toon went to Chillicothe, Ohio to a student assembly. A boy, junior or senior, asked him the same kind of question, and Toon came back with the same argument, and venom. It was so over the top, Tom Brokaw rolled his eyes a bit.

Billy, it’s not that we pro-lifers want to put anyone, mothers, doctors or anyone else, in prison. It’s that we don’t want innocent human life taken in the first place. We want a moral leader to advance the simple proposition that the life inside a mother (and notice even Clinton calls them “mothers”— how can one be a mother of a non-human being???) is a human life, deserving of protection. The idea is to prevent the criminal act, not simply to punish it once it has been accomplished.
