McCain will choose a conservative running mate if Obama is the nominee. He must shore up his base unless he has the luxury of Hillary being the Democratic nominee. If she is the Democratic nominee, he has more latitude in that regard, because conservatives will vote in droves for Satan himself to defeat her.

Against Obama, McCain’s most likely VP will be Tom Pawlenty.

Crist just the other day announced that he wants to start "army of conservationists, 500,000." Now I now there aren't 500,000 Boy and Girl Scouts in Florida. Maybe he meant in the U.S. Anyway, this green army would snitch on businesses, parks, neighbors and anybody else who is not green enough.

Adolf had a Pioneer's program that started out to be about conservation w/elements of snitching.

Crist is a possibility -- and he'd make it even harder for me to vote for McCain -- but I suspect it will be someone else.
