While we are talking about Obama, check out this video on YouTube. Who knows if it is true or a Clinton plant. Interesting, none the less.

Do check out this video for a new look at the wonderkin.

The Obama phenomenon is not really that different from the Princess Di tsunami of emotion.

You hit on something there. Princess Di was all about people wanting to be part of the story - to drop flowers, cry, mourn excessively hoping all would be caught on camera and preserved for eternity.

With Obama, strangely more than with Hillary, people want to be part of what they consider an historic point in time. They want to tell their grandchildren, "I was there when we elected the our first black president. I heard him speak, I shook his hand."

I don't think Obama is a shoo-in. I also think he'll have race baiters in his own party hoping he will fail so they can keep riding the race gravy train.

and against a Republican opponent despised by most members of his party

I would not have voted for McCain until I found out about Senate Bill S.2433 which is sponsored by Obama. This guys a nut case. Imagine the hangover America will wake up to if this guys elected.

We had better make sure conservatives get out and vote for conservative congress-critters....that is the only way to minimize the damage an Obama (or McCain) presidency will do.

I think people on this forum are missing the boat here. Obama is very charismatic. If he were a conservative, we would love him. He seems like a decent person. Most voters (including me) are sick to death of Washington. I see very little difference between Repubs and Dems honestly. Obama is a very attractive candidate, and McCain is not period. Even Repubs don’t like him much. Thus, he will lose.

Speak for yourself. I think most people here find him superficial, smug and shallow.
His entire persona would have to change for him to be a conservative.

Obama is deeply flawed as a candidate and has few strengths.

McCain can beat him, and I believe it is in America’s interest that he do so.

For the next nine months supporters of a McCain victory need to believe and spread the following messages:

1. Obama has no record of accomplishment. He has led nothing and produced nothing.

2. Obama is an extreme leftist. On national security, taxes, abortion, guns, everything, he is the most far-left nominee ever.

Inexperienced. Extremist. That’s what he is.

He will lose.

It’s hard to believe that an infanticide supporting, Saul Alinsky acolyte, tax raising, gaseous platitude spouting, Fabian Socialist with not one single accomplishment that normally considers one to be worthy of the presidency is even under serious consideration for the presidency, to say nothing of defeating any other legitimate presidential candidate. Maybe we need to find out just how far gone the American electorate really is. We are in a war. Obama and Clinton both support defeat and retreat in Iraq. To provide any support for them for any reason, while it may not legally be treason, it is constructively.

Should Obama or Clinton get a compliant Democrat Congress and Senate, the damage done to this country and to liberty as we have known it,would be incalculable. They are the most dangerous presidential candidates since Henry Wallace. Please check this link. It will tell you all that you need to know. There is credible info that could lead one to believe that his Indonesian stepfather to him to Mosque with the intent of making him Muslim. His own campaign said in a LA Time article that he was never a REGULARLY practicing Muslim, leading one to infer that he was an IRREGULARLY practicing Muslim. That is enough for the Muzzies to convict him as an apostate or to accept him as one of the faithful decieving the dhimmis. Check the years 1971-1973 at the link below.

Hey, thanks for the link - good stuff. Unfortunately, I feel ignorant because I really didn’t know Obama and Clinton (well maybe Clinton) were that bad. I’m not real fond of McCain either, and over the past few years I honestly feel the electorate, in general, is caught up in a downward spiral, and is dropping so fast, I’m not sure we have time to put on the brakes before we crash. I’m not a war monger, but I DO believe we should be in Iraq (and a few other places as well), and that our soldiers should be given everything they need to win, and I mean win BIG. We already had a black candidate that would have been perfect wartime president (IMHO), but as far as females - is there any possible way Margaret Thatcher can be re-constituted?
