I find it absurd that some claim there isn’t much difference between HRC, Obama and McCain. I am not happy with some of McCain’s antics either, but to give Obama and HRC the Presidency WITH a big majority in Congress is a ludicrous position.

I MIGHT be able to see the point if the GOP would be in control of congress, or able to put up a fight until 2012, but that won’t happen.

If McCain picks a good VP there is no excuse to allow Obama or HRC into the White House. And no, he isn’t going to do the same things. Obama and HRC appointing judges? Govt run health care? Global taxes? Gut the military and surrender?

Pro Life, Pro Gun, Pro Military and generally fiscally conservative (at least compared to the socialists on the other side).

If it happens, I’ll know who to thank.

Nope! For if you don't get behind him, the regret will be to you, your wallet, your family and your future....

Yes, but the hard core just don't get it. 1/2 a conservative, and with the most important the WOT and the tax issues, is better than what? Ask the hard core that question and all you get back is BS. Talking points of the RATS.

John McCain is a very selfish man, and on a Wednesday morning in November of this year, he will regret that.

Nope. He'll just be pissed at the conservatives.

“3. How do we prevail against Hillary and/or Obama?”

Keep this in mind. as we’ve seen from the latest endorsements. Repuplicans in Congress always choose Party over principle.

Therefore, if Mccain is elected, they will side with him on ever issue - open borders, global warming taxes, fairness doctrine, etc.

If Obama.Hillary is elected they will oppose them on every issue.

Result: conservatives principles do better in the long run if Mccain losses (as counter-intuitive as that seems)

STOP MCCAIN!

I (for one) am just having a little fun on FR about this. I know others are more serious in their disdain for McCain.

I plan to vote for him in November. I do hope that he is smart enough to not choose Huckabee as his VP though.

If John Mclaim thru an election and nobody showed up..
He would be as lonely as a Korean dictator...

And the incompetent republicans at the RNC and many party headquarters in many states would be exposed..

The season for republicans to fire their leading elite is at hand.. The John Mclaim campaign is a Chinese Fire Drill..
The very word republican is close to becoming a byword, an epithet..

John McLaim didn't do this all alone..

Every time I even entertain the notion of holding my nose and voting Queeg, I come across one of your posts and the thought passes. I don’t think McCain’s supporters and operatives have the faintest idea how woefully unpersuasive they really are. It’s almost as though you’re trying to sink his candidacy.

Look, I don't care what you think of me or McCain; and whether you want to commit the equivalent of political hari-kari is your business, not mine. I just wish that you'd be honest in your debates, quit the sophomoric epithets, stick to the facts instead of rehashing the same old absurd notions and refrain posted here daily: (i.e. "he's crazy, he's a brainwashed pawn of the NVA commies, a tool of Israel, he cheated the election system, you can't trust him with his hand on the nuke button, etc.")

I met a Navy pilot that was in Vietnam at the same time as McCain at my caucus, last Saturday. He vehemently hates John McCain and re-iterated the list of actions and remarks that John McCain has made against homeland security.

The man was so angry that he voted for Ron Paul.

Of course you care. You’re trying to persuade as many people as possible to vote for the man.

I’m just telling you, you’re doing a poor job. No epithets required.

This has the "feel" of when John Kerry was "Swift-Boated". It's got momentum, and I don't think it's just going to go away. In a couple of weeks, McCain and his followers will come to terms with the fact that they're facing a loss and they will react.

I'm not sure how they'll react, but as soon as they realize they're going nowhere fast, they'll do something.

Nope! For if you don't get behind him, the regret will be to you, your wallet, your family and your future....

We tried to send a message to our senators in the last election. I guess the RNC didn't get the message! So now they tell us we HAVE McCain as our candidate! He is the last person in the repub party I can think of that I would ever want to vote for.

Sorry, we may regret it, but the RNC has to realize we are not their PUPPETS!
