I didn’t follow my sentence with ...”compared to McCain.”

I consider McCain worse.

So just slow up and wait until your candidate actually wins enough support from real GOP voters in the remaining states.

He isn't my candidate. I never like McCain and am almost afraid of the prospect of him in the White House. (for many reasons but mostly because of his famous temper)

Regardless I think Huckabee is embarrassing himself and should just go away.

Speaking of McCains temper.

When I think if McCains temper, I am reminded of the vision Christopher Walken has when he shakes hands with Martin Sheen in the movie “The Dead Zone”. It eventually causes him to attempt to assassinate Sheen’s character, for obvious reasons.

Believe it or not, it is one of the bricks in the wall that separates me from voting for McCain.

“You are comparing Reagan’s record with McCain’s?”

NO I’M NOT, and your name calling is pretty childish. I am saying Reagan did not have a perfect 10 out of 10 conservative rating when running for President, and I’m glad most of America looked beyond that and saw allot more in him before judging him solely on just the way he voted in the past. And I am one of the original Reagan Democrats and I give him sole credit for helping our family, Dad, Mom, and five of us kids see the light and join the Republican Party. Is McCain like Reagan. NO, in fact I despise the man, but I’m not just looking at his voting record when judging him like you are with your “Look at his Record” comment.

You did make a comparison between Reagan and McCain's respective records. How else could you post be interpreted. Given that my characterization of your intelligence (not name calling) was appropriate. You failed to show that it wasn't a comparison.

What else besides a politicians record do you use as criterion for voting for them? Does he funnel money to you? Is it his raw sexual energy?

Get over it, and get out of the way, peons. McQueeg just wants to get on with the anointing and the crowning ceremony. He is entitled, it is his turn, doncha know? Makes me want to puke!

I hate to say I might agree with you. Never thought I would say that. Huck getting out isn’t going to help McCain. I wouldn’t rally around McCain if someone paid me.

Our primary isn’t until May. I hope Huck stays in so I can register my anti McCain vote.

Otherwise I won’t be bothering to vote until 2012, that is if things get better, which I doubt.

You go ahead and vote for Hunter in November if you want or stay home or whatever. Me, I don’t have a Fred Thompson to vote for anymore and it won’t do anyone any good to do so. I need to make a better decision than to just be sour for the next nine months. Its McCain against Obama or Hillary, that’s it.

Now I have to ask myself now that we down to just McCain, who would I rather turn the military over to

McCain, Clinton, or Obama?

Two of the above names would destroy the military as an effective fighting force by the sheer number of trained soldiers who would get out as soon as they could. They will be replaced by young people just looking for a job in the poor economy that certainly will come with a quasi-socialist government. Having served in the Navy under Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan I have seen this first hand, the difference in moral. Under Jimmy Carter, FTN was very popular graffiti found on the bulkheads of my ship, the stalls in the heads, and at the top of letters the sailors sent home. I’m not going to spell it out but you know what FTN stands for. When Reagan took over this attitude changed and we had pride once again, and re-enlistments went way up, and that foul graffiti disappeared.

If McCain is our nominee, as much as I dislike him I will hold my nose and vote for him for the sake of the military alone. Like I said he is not nore will be another Reagan, but I refuse to give in to the left by giving up on the GOP.

Do you think that Huckabee regrets helping McCain, now?

I heard someone ask McCain if he had talked to Romney and he was very arrogant about it. McCain said no but that he planned to in the near future. He said that he would hope that Romney would call him and be the uniter that he claimed he was, and have the best wishes for the country at heart.

Romney should never call him.

I didn't say I was voting for Duncan Hunter. You accused me, quite immaturely, of being a "Paulite." Can't you even follow your own train of thought? I also want to thank you for giving me permission to vote my conscience. That's mighty Republican of you.

I sure don't need to justify myself to someone who waited until Sept. for his candidate to get off the pot, shuffled along like Grandma Moses until the SC primary, got fired up in one debate and then dropped out three days later.
