Um... I thought the states were voting on the nominee. I didn’t realize that was just for pretend and the RNC got to pick the nominee.

But Bush just said the McCain is a conservative.

Like he’d know one if it bit him on the rear.

Yep. A must-read, for the McCain supporters here. His candidacy is unsupportable, indeed indefensible. No amount of intellectual contortionism will help the view or the outlook. It’s bad.
This far out, we should be able to face reality, acknowledge he won’t win, and alter course.

Making John McCain the RNC nominee is the most certain way to lose the 2008 election. But even if McCain could actually win in November, almost a numerical impossibility by the way, many conservatives have already predicted that even a McCain victory would be the end of the GOP as we know it. What’s the RNC thinking?

The RNC isn't making McCain our nominee. That was the responsibility of the millions of republicans and some others who voted for him in the primaries.

“Build the Fence” was all that was written on the last reply I sent back to my friends at the RNC. I don’t need their help to find good folks to contribute to.

The author is wrong about obama.

Obama was an accidental senator.

he only won because his republican opponent, who was clobbering him in the poles, was caught up in a nasty divorce.
