It HAPPENED to me. I am a first hand recipient of a McCain dirty trick. So, it is true. I didn’t ask them to call me but they had a lot of lying to do that night...

I respect Mitt Romney. He is worlds ahead of McCain. I voted for Huckabee (just licked the envelope, and my wife just voted too) because he is actively in the race, and a little closer to us on trade. My first choice was Duncan, who has since been coaching Huck in the areas where Huck is weak.

Romney probably is/was the smartest, esp. on domestic economy/trade. Hunter was the most knowledgeable all-around, on many issues. Thompson also would have made a fantastic choice. Oh well. We all did our part.

Today's St. Pete Times: FV says, Charlie Crist is going to start an ARMY of environmental snitches (kind of like Germany's Pioneers). Seriously, this guy is Al Gore on steroids.

Here's the quote: CRIST: earning a scout patch "One of the ways to earn a patch: learning about biofuels, the drought, or making a list of places in your neighborhood, camps, school grounds o parks that have pollution problems. Describe how these could be corrected." Crist said he wants to build "an army of conservationists" from the groups' 500,000 members.

Please freepers, DON'T RE-ELECT CHARLIE CRIST. He's out of his tree. He's on the wrong continent and in the wrong decade.
