especially after Crist helped McCain out by allowing Independents and Democrats to vote in the closed GOP primary.

This right here is what threw the primary. How about only allowing REPUBLICANS to vote in a REPUBLICAN primary????!!!!

Gov. Crist is Gay. I dunno how many votes that will bring to the GOP

The Queer Cabin Republicans endorsed McCain, so he owes them at least with a number of gay appointments in his cabinet, maybe Crist-ine will be one of them.

#1 he is pro-life, secured Alito’s nomination, pro-marriage (campaigned for state constitutional amendments against gay marriage), anti gays in the military, against assault weapons ban

#2 he supported the war in iraq throughout its darkest days and Chairman of the IRI. he knows foreign policy like the palm of his hand.

There is a bit of Teddy Roosevelt in him but he is not a liberal.

I saw the Crist interview. A barf alert would have been in order. I gagged when Crist called McDole a ‘true conservative’ and nearly lost it when he called him ‘a conservative’s conservative’. Sheesh!

I just read on another thread that former President William Clinton is back campaigning for Senator Clinton.

Whew. I’m a little relieved. Hopefully now we’ll be assured a Clinton II administration, because as everyone already knows they’d be SO much better for America than McCain!

I’ll be resting a little easier tonight.

Look, I loath McCain, he is a horrid candidate...

But he is a budget hawk
He is a war Hawk
and he is pro-lfe.

He pisses me off every time he’s in the news...but he aint a communist, Hillary and Obama are.

If anything, he buys us time to prep for 2012. If not, we may not be allowed a choice in 2012..the DNC is going to consolodate their gains and it will take years or revolution to get them out.

but Hunter is not running and even when he was, he never really had a good chance.
Great man and I hope Mccain puts him in charge of building the fence he promised.

sorry not buying it.. and I am NOT going to support a "compromise" candidate.. If McCain gets the nomination I will be voting for Obama or the HildaBEAST... thats the ONLY way to keep the TWO-Party system alive.. which is VITAL to keeping the conservative base in power..

JUST SAY NO : To John McCain (and ANY "conservative" who endorses him)

I suggest that we hit the "reset" button..

Crist won’t be VP. Too much risk. McCain won’t take that risk.

Apparently McCain is a “conservative’s conservative”.

I can still remember a time when I didn’t know the truth and could have been led down the slaughterhouse trail whistling.

Not. Any. More.

The problem with McCain’s defense shows a complete lack of understanding what a conservative is; Independent, Principled, Knowledgeable, Discerning and impossible to spin.

A conservative’s conservative does not offend the Constitution by passing a law violating a fundamental right guaranteed therein.

Then I suggest that you find a good place to put your money because the dollar will really tank and the govt will tax what’s left.
