Liked him best in 2010: The year We Make Contact.
Loved that film. He really made the character Heywood Floyd stand out.
Too bad. RIP.

On a sales call about a dozen years ago in midtown Manhattan, I stepped into an elevator carrying Roy Scheider. He was as brown as a nut and just about as tiny.
God rest his soul.

" And as an American and an ex-veteran, isnt that his free right?."True enough, just like it's my right to dislike him for it. Still liked his work though.

Multiple myeloma killed my mother in 1985. A very bad deal. The last time I saw him he did not look well. I suspect he had the disease even then. Sorry to hear of his passing.

So what?
Protesting a military action while troops are in the field demoralizes the troops, wouldn't you say?
Actually, I don't care what you say. Just don't say it to me.

I loved his acting in All That Jazz, based on the life of Bob Fossi. He was very good at his trade.

RIP
Enjoyed him in several movies, but especially Jaws.

His best was “All That Jazz.” I never was into dancing, etc. (although my wife was) but I went to that movie because of her and absolutely loved it - because of him, not her.
