BTW, you should change your tag line to read “I helped McCain win.”
That explains his abnormal behavior and infatuation for Willard. Thanks
Spoken like a good liberal.
Maybe it has something to do with socialized medicine (yeah I know, it's actually private but the government pays for it) that has made abortion cheaper than a tank of gas or a carton of cigarettes. Or maybe it's because of homosexual marriage.
What amazes me is that here we have a politician who, in four short years, makes MASSACHUSETTS more liberal than Kennedy and the 'Rats ever thought possible and we have people trying to describe this record as "conservative."
Im proud of being a small part in the effort to dump both Giuliani and Romney from the GOP field. Neither one deserved to be the nominee. Two anti-conservative, pro-abortion northeast liberals --- frauds and phonies --- trying to hoodwink conservatives into voting for them.
Good riddance.
If this is true, then this is dirty politics - dirtier than I even thought possible, at this stage of the game.
If there is going to be a war of conservatives against McCain, Huckabee has just become its default leader.
That's absurd.
I’ve got a bunch of RINOs mad at me too:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1966757/posts
The way I see it, they spent all year telling us that we needed to nominate a RINO. Well, now they’re getting the most well-known RINO in decades, they should be excited.
Interesting, then, how real conservatives (Tancredo, Heritage Foundation, Weyrich, Bork, Rohrabacher, Sheriff of Maricopa) endorsed what you so-called conservatives call a “liberal.” Maybe it’s because they found out his actual record?
You got what you wanted, and I hope you’re very happy with McAmnesty.
I can't see Lieberman. I can't see McCain going outside the party.
At the risk of being flamed from here to the next century, there's a certain logic in Giuliani.
McCain seems to have what voting public wants in terms of military, national defense, political acumen. But these are large over-arching national issues. Giuliani has an image of "street cred" in practical governance.
You might get a fiscal conservative. But, the Clintons have a better record than McCain on this issue. And, for all that, you still think we should support McCain? Sorry, I think we need to take the garbage out.
Maybe Mitt can be McCain’s “maverick”, and pound him daily in the press, on every political show, running down his poll numbers.
As McCain has done to the President and Iraq for years.
Mitt will be my hero, my “maverick”!
While most FReepers were working to get rid of Rooty and advance conservative candidates like Thompson and Hunter, some FReepers abandoned conservatism, betrayed the conservative agenda and promoted another liberal Republican for the nomination.
Romney was really no better than Giuliani.
Thank God both of these yahoos are gone.
[ps- put me on your ping list. thanks]
Please pardon my ignorance. I am not a native speaker of English. I’m thinking there is something I’m missing in what you said about Romney’s healthcare program. Here’s your quote:
(yeah I know, it’s actually private but the government pay for it)
I have tried, but I’m failing to understand how it can concurrently be both private and public (government).
Please humor/indulge me. In advance, I appreciate the generosity of your time.

One way I see what Mitt did yesterday as having a silver lining:
Huckabee goes south, literally, and out of the race. McCain implodes before September.
Romney comes back as the nominee.
Conservatives need to not fold, but to hold out against McCain. McCrazy was annointed, and half of the Republicans have yet to vote. We can yet influence the outcome prior to September.
They want us to cave now.
Screw ‘em. They made their choice. And I made mine. I’m not voting for a Democratic, even with an “R” after his name.
You’ve missed his bragging about his ability to ‘reach across the aisle’? Everybody speaks in an idiom that characterizes them. ‘Reaching across the aisle’ is McCain speak for what you characterize as ‘going outside the party’.
I do understand what you’re saying about Giuliani vis-a-vis national defence/political acumen. I don’t support it, I don’t support McCain or Giuliani, but I do understand your point of view.
Delusional psychosis. LOL
“Delusional psychosis. LOL”
Well, you should know.
