Fox may get ambushed on it's early call for McCain.
Rationale:
The absentee ballots included Giuliani, who's pulling about 10%. These votes will be trashed because of his withdrawal. Net effect, is that absentees (McCain's strength, in raw numbers, will be fewer than otherwise expected.

Just got the California “by-District” page to load.
Keep in mind that these numbers are EARLY....
Romney is not leading in a SINGLE district, though he is competitive in several...
Not going to be a good night, methinks....

MARKET ALERT
from The Wall Street Journal.Asian markets suffered heavy losses after a sell-off on Wall Street fanned concerns the U.S. economy was sliding into a recession. In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 average ended the morning trading session down 4.1% while Hong Kongs Hang Seng tumbled more than 5% in a half-day session ahead of the Lunar New Year holidays.
I knew I should have bought FXP or shorted FXI lol...

It's worse than you think. Thier Churches refuse to baptize anyone other than Christians. And what about those Catholics - they refuse to consider anyone other than a Catholic for Pope. I guess all those Christians are just bigots. LOL. Well to each his own, I guess we all have our own litmus tests on who we would support, but last I heard Romney wasn't running based on his religious dogma.

Want to make a bet that McCain loses to the dems? He will lose.
Nah - cuz you're right. the conservatives will stay home/vote 3rd party. liberals/moderates that voted for him tonight will vote Dem. And the Dems will fight a dirty campaign, even dirtier than what McCain can come up with. And they have a suitcase full of ammo to use on him.

Very few Republicans are engaged in the particulars of politics as we are. The bloggers and talk radio listeners are apparently in the GOP minority.
To: r9etb
IMO, the folks who are voting for McCain have gotten sick of "conservatives" and their single-issue antics. Conservatives might want to learn from their mistakes -- but many or most will not.You would think the party would have wanted to learn from its mistakes re: Dole 1996 -- but they will not.
Ping me when McCain wins the Presidency. Ask for Blue boy. I'll be holding my breath.
To: Azzurri
Stock up.
You can take that any way you want. Most will know what I am saying.
Things are going to get dire as our country is increasingly taken over by external invaders on the one hand, and through socialism on the economic front.

CNN is calling Missouri and Calif for McCain...
Missouri is a winner take all, latest CNN reports were:
98 % reporting, 33% McCain, 32% Huckabee
For California, it's:
16% reporting, 44% McCain, 25% Romney

Looks like another bad stock market day for us tomorrow. Gee, which of the tax-and-spend liberals will lead us out of a recession? /s The one man with any economic sense is pretty much out of th erace.

Yup. We have four democrats running, two of them from the Republican party.

The bible tells us what you’re supposed to do, and you ain’t doin’ it. But that doesn’t stop you from continuing to hide behind religiosity, like a Pharisee. Jesus called such folks “vipers” and “sons of the devil”. Sounds about right in describing you.

Best line I’ve read all night... so far. Now if we can only get Hillary to let Teddy drive her home.

I urge all those who feel that Romney is solidly conservative to watch your video clip Theophilus has added. That is a eye opener. sorta reminds me of Peter, when the Roman soldier accused him of being a follower of Jesus. Romeny was ready to curse that other candidate!! with lies!
