Vote for Fred, and you will be voting for John McCain.

That could be the purpose of this vanity.

"I will never dishonour the nation I love or myself by letting ambition overcome principle. Never, never, never" John McCain - Feb 2000 LOL

Mitt Romney is a phony conservative.

BS! He is totally a conservative, little do you know. And this stupid vote for Fred is a vote for McNut. What is the matter with you people. Fred is done, even I was for him until he quit. He never really got started. Why can't you people think! Must be a few of the 2/3 Americans that are brain dead!

Ok, let's get real here.

Tenn may go to Thompson out of the 'favorite-son' syndrome, and that in itself will be significant. It will signal the GOP leadership, that even though Fred is not in the race, the electorate is very displeased with the choices we have.

If Fred does well in other states, and I mean anywhere in the 5-10% range, that also should be a warning to the GOP elites that we conservatives out here, who have been kicked to the curb, are not about to go quietly down the road they want us to.

Yeah...and there is a possibility that I will win the lottery as long as I buy a ticket...about the same odds.

I admire the effort, but it's over. So, by the way, is the effort to elect any of the ninnies (RINinnies?) still in the race for the GOP nomination. Too many Republicans did not realize the stakes and are, once again, settling for the next guy in line -- the most "electable" politician.

The best we can do is to start right here -- at this site -- and begin rebuilding what we allowed the RINOs to destroy... the conservative movement. This time, we should put the emphasis on the priciples that were sold out along the way to this disaster. Maybe in 8 to 12 years we'll get another chance to do it right.

Let’s see:

I could vote for the venial, lying opportunistic weasel from Arkansas who will bring disgrace on the name of Christianity.

I could vote for the backstabbing, open borders, eco-weenie CRAZY MAN.

I could vote for the gay rights pushing, gun grabbing, Mass. stem cell research supporter who can’t tell the truth from a lie.

No sale.

Yawn. Not buying the Myth Romney line.

The lesser of evils is still evil.

(And I am not at all convinced Myth is the lesser of evils; indeed, he strikes me as a pathological liar of Clintonian proportions.)

Sorry, I vote for the most conservative, and McInsane, Huckster, and Myth don’t even register.

A wasted vote, it is too late for Fred. Another vote for McNut because you will have taken another vote for Romney, and a guarantee to end up with Hitlery. Romney/Thompson 08

He was fighting with moles in his campaign, who were holding a grudge over the departure of the Fox guy who joined the campaign. Every time he started getting ahead, they floated another vicious rumor.

What makes you think it would be any different if he reentered the race? What makes you think he'd be able to overcome the 'onetime-dropout' tag they'd pin on him?

Fred left us; we never left Fred. But once he did, I made a commitment to consider Romney through my state's primary (which is today). If you knew me well you'd know I honor my commitments, even those to myself. Well, I'm voting for Romney today. And then we'll see. But one thing I can tell you, I'm not voting for McCain, Huckabee or Paul in the general election. So that leaves a write-in vote or staying home. It's that simple.

Now, if Fred were to reenter the race (I'm not holding my breath) I might reconsider if it looked like it could take hold. But, like I said, I'm big on commitments, and Fred canceled his with us. So, I'm lukewarm at best. I consider that fair.

Good for you; there are a lot of us.

Karl Rove said “F@ck the conservatives. Where will they go?”

Well, I am leaving the plantation.

You have the right to be wrong if you want to.

In this election cycle, a person have better vote smart.

If you are a Tennessee voter, even if you hate Mike Huckabee, you had better vote for him, if you don’t want McCain to win. The polls are way to close to call.

Romney won’t win here.

Romney didn’t bother to campaign in NYS. He is going into Super Tuesday with not much more than 20% to McCain’s 60%+.

Winner take all.

Me voting for Romney will not help him in my state. I will vote for whoever the nominee is in November.

Well said. I wish Fred had not dropped out, but he did.

There's nothing I can do about that.

Spectacular!

Vote for Fred!

I am so tired of the effete elites who want us to compromise and vote for some fake.
