More agents for bush to prosecute and jail. Then again, the dead man is not a Mexican but an American so bush probably doesn't care.

Potrero is very near the US/Messican border. Anyone living that close has in some way been affected by the influx of ILLEGALS into this country. I know, I used to live in Live Oak Springs where this incident occurred. This slug was not only a POS but was stabbing his neighbors in the back by smuggling ILLEGALS through their backyards.
Good riddance.

We have LAWS in this country, and you nutty Kill All The Illegals types think Bush, and not our justice system, personally prosecutes these people.
It's incidents like this which HURT our attempts to persuade people about the urgent need to stop illegals from getting in. But it's so easy for the armchair border agents to talk tough, so it will keep going on.
If border agents kill people there should indeed be investigations, and if necessary prosecutions. What is so crazy about looking into killings going on in our country, if only to highlight what is going on when these people come in illegally, and to show that our side is in the right?

One gets the impression the rules of engagement have changed since the BP Agent was run over by the drug runner, two weeks ago.

We still have people on this site supporting and implying Bush is just an innocent bystander in regards to this Bush sponsored invasion of millions? You're joking right?
Bush has been Mexico's best friend, while publicly suggesting Americans are lazy and bigots.
Some leader ya got there.

Golly gee willikers....
Perhaps my guarding the West German border, with orders to kill, during the 1970's has something to do with how I feel about this subject?

you nutty Kill All The Illegals typesGet a life, dirtbag. You're on the wrong side of this argument.
The overzealous prosecution of agents just doing their jobs is as reprehensible as those of you who defend it.
And I don't want all ILLEGALS dead, just those who try to kill Border Patrol agents.

Some leader ya got there.Since I said nothing like what you say above, I assume you're either not talking to me or you can't be bothered to actually read posts before you reply. I don't recall Bush suggesting Americans are lazy or bigots--are you suggesting some aren't?
As for some leader I got, I'm guessing you're not an American, because Bush leads America. So I don't really care what non-Americans have to say on this topic.

Oh boy, that's some awesome logic--I don't want the anti-illegal side to be discredited = I must be pro-illegal.
The overzealous prosecution of agents just doing their jobs is as reprehensible as those of you who defend it.
How do you define "overzealous prosecution"? How would you like those involved in shootings to be prosecuted?
And I don't want all ILLEGALS dead, just those who try to kill Border Patrol agents.
Agreed.

I don't recall Bush suggesting Americans are lazy or bigots Then you're not paying attention Freddy. Bush said it, McStain said it, Lindsey Graham has said it, as has mnany of their fellow liberals.
Seems someone's not been paying attention.

If your every answer to someone daring to suggest we follow our own laws is going to be something like "I guarded the WG border so there!" then there's no use talking to you.
