The vote in Orange and San Diego counties could determine the election here. They are the two largest Republican leaning counties in the state, and both are overwhelmingly conservative. Mitt has to win big in both counties to have a chance to carry the state. The population doesn't matter this go-around. Every congressional district is a separate contest. A district in Org Cty with 200,000 Republicans people gets the same amount of delegates (3) as Pelosi's district with only 30,000.

My CA vote (absentee) was cast for Mitt 2 weeks ago.Ditto.
Who was ahead in the polls in CA when their early voting started?
