And if he does make it then he'll make a fast left as the Pres.

He's going to do that anyway as a means of punishing all of us who opposed him.

Like hell I will! She must be as arrogant as her son!!! I will NEVER vote for McCain, EVER!

Agreed. I'll vote for the most conservative third party candidate. I hate Hillzilla and the thought of another Clinton in the WH makes me want to wretch. But, would a lesbian socialist as head of the free world be worse than having an insane old man (albeit a Republican) with his meaty hands on the levers of power?

There is too much dirt on McCain like the pass given to Cindy in the embezzlement and drug scandal.

Wouldn’t the same thing happen to any other nominee? Different dirt but still the same tactics. We’ll have a pretty good idea in a couple of days as to who will be the nominee, imo.

Welcome to FR.

Same here. But you know we'll be endlessly nagged here that we need to keep Hillary out at all costs. Just as in '06, it'll be the 'lesser of evils' speech. But, personally, I think McCain is the more evil because he is pretending to be something he is not and will stab us in the back by pushing all the Democrat's agendas.

Perhaps if the GOP could put someone forward who actually exercised some vision and leadership, they wouldn't have to contine dragging out the democrat-as-boogey-man argument to get us to support their candidate. And, sadly, I'm beginning to believe that that play has lost its effectiveness.

I can see it now: "Sure we're crappy! But our opponent is crappier! We might be mediocre, but we're not as mediocre as them!" Inspiring, isn't it?

For my own part I’m wondering if Vegas already has odds on how many weeks of MSM and Democrat bull-baiting after the nomination will McCain have to be wheeled off the national stage in a Hannibal Lecter straitjacket, foaming at the mouth.

He’s spent years toadying to the media and liberals, when they turn on him his head’s gonna do the Exorcist Spin and vomit pea soup. In his own mind, he’s convinced they’re his good buddies. He cannot comprehend that the reason they love him is that they know they can derail him at will.

I am afraid you are right on both counts. This man has no idea how poorly he handles his own anger, and that makes him dangerous.

Here’s the thing. It is obvious that McCain cannot hold his temper. If these things are out there, no matter what YOU may think about them, they will most certainly be used in the general. If you don’t think so, you are living in a fairyland. And many of these things have circulated for years and never denied. What happens when he blows up at the questioning about them? He will be asked and he won’t like it. He won’t have the media shilling for him like they are doing now! He will be a disaster in the general election against either Clinton or Obama!

Well now.... if you feel that way about it, make someone else the top runner and make someone else the only Repub standing in the end. I’ll vote for him.

You won’t find me wetting myself because I don’t get my way nor act like a bunch of beady eyed liberals like some of you are acting now.

Stuff is out there? *laughing* Man, theres stuff out there about anyone that is ahead. They’d be talking crap about Mitt or Huck as they did about Fred.

If you REALLY want to make your case, then bring me stuff that is verifiable or else, you’re just doing another hit job like the left have been doing on Bush these past 7 years. You would be no better than the worse of them.

And no...... I won’t just take your word for it. Give me stuff against McCain with substance and verifiable. Then we’ll have something to discus.

Holding our noses and voting for the lesser of two evils in 2006 was one thing, a thing I advocated and did; voting for an affirmative evil that will be far worse than the Witch in terms of the damage he actually will do to the country and the destruction of the Republican brand will be light years worse. I will not vote for that vile man.

Your list just scratches the surface. A vote for McCain is a vote for Hillary.

Just saw McCains Mom on FNC. She said he has no support from the republican base, but they will have to hold their noses and take him

She and her Juan boy are going to be deeply saddened.
