Disciplinary offense? Yes. Make 'em stay after school.
Criminal infraction? My ass. Suspend the incompetent principal.

Charge them with a felony and send them to prison. That’ll teach ‘em.

just make them skip lunch. By supper they will be wishing they had eaten the “missiles”. How silly.

Oh yeah, that’ll get the teachers and principal a lot of respect from the students. WHFO.

I agree. This is clownish and should have not have police involvement. Detention or suspension, but a criminal charge is pathetic.

I don’t have a problem with it if they were warned ahead of time that this would happen.
To: ShadowDancer
If they’d been throwing donuts the SWAT team would have been sent in.
To: ShadowDancer
The Bush administration will take care of this.
They don’t want any acts of terror reported in US territory during their final year.
To: 1rudeboy
That’s what the story says. It’s an ‘adult infraction’, which — unless this ‘journalist’ is unusually shoddier than usual, that it’s a criminal charge (a misdemeanor, I sincerely hope...but one never knows with clowns like this).

Sometime you must meet stupidly with stupidly head on so that it becomes so obvious to the casual viewer how stupid a situation you are in.

I sure as h-e-ll Do!
Criminalizing every little act of misbehavior trivializes the real crimes;you know, those crimes like rape, robbery, and murder.
Clogging the courts and police dockets with french fry attacks,5 year olds' temper tantrum, children drawing pictures of weapons or "gasp" having normal eating utensils in their lunch is a sign of something other than rational government.

If they had been throwing donuts, the entire police department would’ve turned out.
/Piling on.
