There’s no such thing as bad publicity, especially for the Marine Corps. I think the actions of these social crab lice will boost enlistments.

I think the Corps should station an M-1A at the entrance to the recruiting office. Problem solved!

Suggest to several thousand Marines, that Berkley would be a great place to spend a weekend. Would end this sh$t in a hurry.

How is it legal for a city to supersede the authority of the Federal Government?

Grant Berkely their independence, then send in the Marines and reconquer them - put on trial their city council for war crimes and exterminate the lot of them. Berkely is full of the oldest group of left over 60’s hippies known to mankind. Shame shame shame on these adults for acting like petulant stoned out teenagers.

Why would it have taken 7.5 hours for the cops to cut those chains?
I propose that the officer in charge at that office buy a set of bolt cutters.

An unidentified man, top, yells at anti-war protester Don Spark and other activists that chained themselves together in an attempt to block the entrance to a Marine Corps. recruitment office in Berkeley.

Don Spark falls to the ground when he and other anti-war protesters tried to prevent an unidentified man, right, from entering a Marine Corps. recruitment office in Berkeley.

It's not legal. In fact, it's such a wellknown phenomenon that it has its own name ~ REBELLION and TREASON.
There are appropriate punishments for such crimes. But, we can wait for the trials while the troops, big guns and cruise missiles are brought to bear on this problem. No doubt Defense Department has the coordinates of the City Council meeting room should its members be stupid enough to continue hanging around our country.
